I just finished watching the finale, and I'm blown away. It gives me hope that good writing still exists. Granted, finding good writing in tv and film is like finding a needle in a haystack, so we should appreciate the heck out of a gem when we can find them.
Good writing is not dead yet; it is just rare. I'd almost given up my reviews completely because the saturation of bad writing had descended me into a deep depression. But now.... I've found my new angle: only review the gems when I can find them. Even if it means going back in time.

Writers and directors use what they know in their creations. It's a time-honored fact. I've been seeing it in the latest films for years. Now, the creators are fed up, and the decline in quality has begun. (I'm looking at you, DC.) The greedy suits in charge will have no one to blame for themselves but themselves for what happens next.
