Riding back home post gym in this new town, listening to 'Endrendrum Punnagai' (remember that Maddy's intro song from 'Alaipayuthey') is such a high!

PS: I want talk more about this town, this small town, my hometown for namesake I guess, coz I've hardly lived here. My parents live here and these 'three weeks' is the longest time I have stayed with them like after more than a decade, yeah. Last time I stayed here for this long was during 7th standard holidays I remember, coz after that I ran away from home with my girl, my childhood sweetheart you know! I wish I could tell you her name, it's the most beautiful name in the world, really! They say 'Aum' is the most powerful sound in this universe, but for me here name was... okay, let's not go there now, I gotta go! I don't have time for stories! Bye!

"Cauvery Calling: A Race to Save A River" a documentary film by Lisa Sabina Harney is premiering on the
22 August 2020, Saturday at 6:30 PM IST

I learnt a lot about the conditions of our farmers in Karnataka and Tamilnadu, mainly Karnataka, as I was involved in helping Lisa Akka with Translations (interpretations- from Kannada to English) for this documentary. Watching all the footage for hours on end would just leave me shattered sometimes, kinda knows the effect it used to have on me those days. Even though "Cauvery Calling" was something I was all for from the beginning, like I campaigned for it and wanted to become a Nadi Veera (full-time volunteer for the cause) at one point, I never knew how serious and real the issue was until I worked on this. I'm happy this is finally coming out to shake and wake the human in all of us. 🙏🏼
