We had the pleasure of meeting Her Nobleness, Tunku Mariam Zahara, a member of the Johor Royal Family & sister to the current King of Malaysia, Sultan Ibrahim.

During our introduction, she graciously shared that her late father, Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, also held a deep passion for motorcycles and enjoyed participating in convoy rides. 🏍️

Where "Tambak Overlanders" got started, at the Causeway itself. Translated to Malay as "Tambak", this was the starting point of our first ever trip to Thailand back in 2019.

The Causeway turns 100 today, with Johor & Singapore commemorating the milestone just this morning. We're proud to be associated with the Causeway thru our namesake.

With both Singapore & Malaysia commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Causeway today, Tambak Overlanders (TO) is proud to be associated thanks to our namesake (‘Tambak’ refers to ‘Causeway’ in Malay).
The name is chosen as it was the starting point of our first ever overland ride to Thailand on our 2B motorcycles. Hence, the name "Tambak Overlanders". Today, thru our riding group arm, TOBC; we have organized numerous number of convoy rides specifically targeted to beginner riders & regardless of bike type.
Thru this, many new bikers have built the confidence to embark on their own journeys across the causeway & beyond, sparking the adventure side in them and their machines. We have proven that even the smallest of bikes can embark on great distances.
