Tonight, we’re heading to Texas! We’re covering a lesser known serial killer. Faryion Wardrip got away with murder and r**e for a long time. He was a hardcore drunk and a druggie, and he was baked when he killed people. He was convicted and sent to prison for one murder, and then was stupidly released. But, he had cleaned up, and he moved away, started living legit. Except, he had killed 4 other people, and one of his murders had been blamed on the victim’s husband.

But, this is another case where DNA came back to bite a scumbag in the butt. DNA, and some brilliant police work. This was a very interesting and fun case. Fun, because Bill is joined by Matthew from Murder Coaster, and Jessica of Texas True Crime. 3 leads of 3 different podcasts. Can’t go wrong there right? Enjoy! Because we sure did!

Who is that third guy? he sounds familiar!
Ricky Kasso, aka The Acid King was a troubled teenager, who had a rough childhood, and got into drugs. Big time. This story takes place n Northport, on Long Island, NY in 1984. It was a case that fueled the Satanic Panic because he ran with a group of kids who used Satan as a way to scare people. Although Ricky in his drug riddled mind thought Satan was talking to him. A friend of his stole some drugs from him, and he and another friend lured him into the woods, and brutally murdered him.

The media, all too eager to capitalize on the Satanic Panic lumped heavy metal, and anyone who listened to it in with the blame for the case. In fact it was this case where the AC/DC meaning Anti Christ Devil’s Children originated from because Ricky was wearing an AC/DC shirt when her was arrested.

Aubrey Love was born in a small Bible Belt town in Alabama. She was a rebel with a wild streak. Ever heard of the NorCal Ra**st, Roy Charles Waller? Not many people have, including our guest, Matthew Brockmeyer from the Murder Coaster Podcast. Why? Because he isn’t a serial killer, as far as the law is concerned. But, Bill has his suspicions, which he goes over in the episode.
Beginning in the early 90s, a very cunning ra**st would stalk and r**e women all over Northern California. He had a wife and daughter, and lived a plain and ordinary life, as he r**ed 9+ women, although there are probably more...as well as murders.
But this story isn’t just of a very slick ra**st and stalker. In it, we witness the birth of familial DNA being used in cold cases, and that, combined with very impressive police work is what brought this jerk down…..after 27 years. His last known r**e was in 2006, and he was arrested in 2018.

In World War 1, the Germans perfected chemical weapons by using a bastardized version of the Haber-Bosch fertilization process that revolutionized how food was mass produced worldwide. Its still used today. It was developed by German chemist, Fritz Haber. But, when the war broke out, he found a way to weaponize it, and chemical weapons were born. Fritz Haber was dubbed the Father of Chemical Warfare, and thousands and thousands of soldiers would die as a result of its use.

One battle in particular was the Battle of Osoweic Fortress, in Poland. The Russians occupied it, and the Germans wanted it due to its strategic location, and a battle broke on Aug 6, 1915. The Germans deployed the chemical weapons, and this was one of the first times it had been used. The Russians had no protection from it, and most of their battalion was wiped out. But, a group of around 100 Russian soldiers whose insides were being dissolved, charged the field in a bayonet charge. They looked like corpses running at them. The Germans thought they were zombies, and this small band of dying Russian were able to push the German battalion back, and maintain the fortress.

There is a man on a mission. His mission isn't very clear, but he is definitely on one, and he will troll and threaten and try to ruin anyone who gets in his way. Matthew Berdyck declared war on the small town of St Joseph, Missouri because they wouldn't bow to his wishes. It all stared in a local IHOP restaurant, where he tried to be a knight in shining armor to a woman who was being assaulted in the parking lot. It didn't go how he planned. Or did it? Either way, this sparked an epic online temper tantrum of slander, threats, and double speak that would include terroristic threats from an obviously unhinged man. Facebook banned him, but later started paying him. Matthew is not in prison. Join Bill as he discusses the documentary with creator, Peter John Ross. The documentary, Social Media Monster will be released on Amazon Prime Video on May 31, 2024. Its a very well put together documentary, and a story that will blow your mind. Tonight, we cover “The other” Baton Rouge serial killer, Sean Gillis. And, like we were for Derrick Todd Lee, The Baton Rouge serial killer, we are once again joined by Jody Plauche. Sean was a momma’s boy from the minute he was born until he was arrested for murder, and he probably still is. This mindset gave him a mindset that everyone owed him.

He began his murder spree later in life than most serial killers, but he was one of the more grisly ones, dismembering his victims, and ra**ng their corpses, and even eating some of it.

He hooked up with a woman who had a troubled past, and had a skeleton in her closet of her own, but she was determined to turn her life around, and thought she had found the man of her dreams when she met Sean. She had no clue that he was a serial killer, and Sean did this for 10 years, killing 8 women. Its a crazy story, and Jody gives us his take on Sean, and he also tells us some facts about his own past. This was an amazing episode you don’t want to miss.

Tonight, we start a 3 part series that will wrap up our 6 case Canada Binge, with part one of Willie Pickton, a sick Canadian pig farmer who confessed to killing 49 s*x workers, and was also suspected of selling human meat along with the pork that his farm produced, as well as disposing some of it at a rendering plant, that meant that human flesh was in various products that use processed food.

In this episode, we discuss Willie’s horrific upbringing, and warning signs that there was a serial killer in the making. We also start discussing how indigenous women in Canada were considered less important by the police, which we’ll cover at length in part 2.

Willie is believed to be Canada’s worst serial killer. He was only convicted of 6 murders, but he was charged with 20 more, and there were lots more who disappeared from Vancouver’s Downtown East Side during that time frame.

So, get ready. This case is a big one.

Today, we’re continuing the Canada Binge with a crazy story from Nova Scotia. We extended the Canada Binge by one more week before we get to Willie Pickton. This week, we’re covering the Marriotts and Melvins feud. Its Canada’s modern day drug fueled version of the Hatfields and McCoys.

The 2 families were both drug dealers, and they didn’t like each other. That’s basically it, although the story is crazy, and its directly tied to the Quebec Biker War. It ends with most of the key players either dead or in prison. These families have been compared to the real life Trailer Park Boys, which is actually filmed in Nova Scotia.

Joining us on this episode is Morgan Rector of Human Monsters. He was a great guest, and he provided insight on some of the geography of the story. So, join us, and get ready because next week, we’ll be doing Willie Pickton part 1...If I don’t find another crazy Canadian story.

Continuing the Canada Binge, we have another collab. Krys and Jess from Moms, Wine, and True Crime join us. They're also from Canada. They're a really good new podcast that I hope will be around for a long time, and we had a blast recording this.

Jennifer Pan was a 24 year old college student, whose overbearing father made her decide that her only option was to kill him. This after she lied about graduating high school, and getting into college, and getting busted in the lie.

She and her boyfriend hired a group of 3 guys to carry out the hit, although nothing goes as planned, and she is busted. The wheels are falling off her story, as she digs deeper and deeper, trying to lie her way out of it.

Hey, everybody...This week’s episode was an absolutely horrific story. Canadians do their cults crazy. The first one that comes to mind is the Anthill Kids. This cult isn’t that bad, but it is in the Gertrude Baniszewski and Mother Anna’s House of Prayer level of depravity. Its called His Rest Christian Fellowship, and there is literally nothing online about it that I could find other than a 2 minute news story from when they were arrested. I found the book when I was looking for a Canadian cult to cover.
This story of course has a crazy woman who thinks she’s God’s prophet, and there is lots of abuse at her hands, plus insane interpretations of the bible. There are also vulgar displays of judicial malpractice, although the police did a great job getting these people to the courtroom. It also has 2 incredibly brave kids. So, give it a listen, and tell someone about it.
And this is a case of be careful what you wish for, because it was absolutely horrible. Paul and I were pi**ed off pretty much the entire episode. But this case needs to be better known. We are the first podcast to cover it, and I want other podcasts to cover it too. Also, I’m including the link to the book because there’s a lot that I left out.

Welcome to the second episode in our Canada Binge series. Tonight, we’re covering a surprisingly unknown case. The Quebec Biker Wars. A turf war between the Hells Angels, and rival clubs, Rock Machine and Bandidos. It also involves the Quebec Mafia.

This starts off when the leaders of the Montreal Hell’s Angels chapter offed leaders of northern Hell’s Angels chapters. The Montreal leaders were sent to prison for the murders, and Montreal’s Hell’s Angels chapter was left in disarray, and had lost the respect of literally all of he other Hell’s Angels chapters.

Enter Maurice Boucher, who was tasked with putting te club back together and regaining the respect of the Hell’s Angels again.

He meticulously did over the years, and soon, they were a force to be reckoned with once again.

A new club had sprung up from the ashes of Hell’s Angels, called Rock Machine. They were led by Salvatore Cazzetta, a former Hell’s Angels member who had defected. Cazzetta also had ties to the Quebec Mafia, so Rock Machine was protected. But, Cazzetta was arrested as a drug supplier, which left Rock Machine vulnerable.

What happened next was a multi year long war that made what the NYC mafia did during prohibition seem tame by comparison.

So, join us as we tell this story that is full of strategy, subterfuge, drugs, violence, politics, and Harleys! Why this story isn’t well known is beyond me, but we hope you liked this story as much as we did.
