Two Bus Rapid Transport busses, known as BRT, were involved in a head-on collision on Tuesday in the Dopemu area of Lagos State.
The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, or LASTMA, confirmed this in an online video posted on its official X handle.
The event, according to the organisation, had caused congestion on the axis.
However, no fatalities were recorded.

An FRSC officer, Marshal Abiodun Ajomole of the Costain Unit Command, on Saturday, was crushed to death by a trailer while attending to a vehicle.
The truck, which lost control due to a brake failure, rammed into him.
The incident took place somewhere within the Orile bus/stop axis of Lagos State.

Lagosians have lamented the terrible damage that the early morning rain has done to their houses, roads, and businesses.
Numerous homes in the impacted areas have been flooded because of the intense rains.
Festac, Oko-baba in Agege, Egbede, Ikotun, and Ajegunle were among the worst-hit areas as the flood swept through streets and houses.
Residents were seen bailing out water from taking over their houses, cars stuck, and others submerged in the floods.
The floodwater covered many houses in Ijanikin, Alaba International Market Area, Ajangbadi, and Etegbi, all in Ojo.

Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has demolished the DATKEM Plaza, owned by Olufunke Daniel, wife of former governor Gbenga Daniel and incumbent senator representing Ogun East.
Olusegun Lawal, the building's project manager and developer, confirmed in a statement that the five-story structure on Folagbade Street in Ijebu-Ode was demolished around 3 a.m. on Sunday.
According to Mr Lawal, the building, which had been under construction since 2009, had received the state government's complete approval and was expected to be commissioned by the end of September before being demolished.
He also stated that the structure had no problems with either quality or structural integrity.

Female law students from the University of Calabar have staged a protest against Prof Cyril Ndifon, Dean of Faculty of Law at the University, for sexual harassment.
The students chanted and held signs expressing their dissatisfaction that read, among other things, "Ndifon Must Go!" "We’re tired of sucking dicks for marks", "Law Girls Are Not Bonanza", "Prof Ndifon Must Stop Grabbing our Bum Bum".
The president of the Unical branch of the Law Students Association of Nigeria, LAWSAN, Comrade Benedict Otu, led the students in their protest against Ndifon.
Ndifon refuted the claims, stating that some faculty members were behind the demonstration.
He claimed the accusations were outright lies intended to damage his reputation.

On Tuesday morning, a large group of Osun State Polytechnic employees and students protested over the suspension of the institution’s Rector, Dr Tajudeen Odetayo.
Students who were preparing for exams were stuck as the demonstrators blocked the main university entrance in Iree while chanting solidarity songs.
Odetayo's position as the polytechnic's rector had been suspended due to charges of corruption, and Alabi Adeyemi had been named the institution's acting rector by Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke.
The institution's Academy Staff Union of Polytechnic termed the suspension an anomaly that violated the institution's bylaws.
According to Dr Fatai Afolabi, the union's chairman, the institution's academic operations will also be suspended indefinitely.
