We sum up our thoughts on reality music shows using this beautiful interview from the ever thought provoking, ever talented, and ever honest (sometimes to his own detriment. Taylor Swift...whoops) Damon Albarn. He sums up the exploitation these shows promoted perfectly. And he's right we completely agree with him....BUT where does that leave Andy the binman and working class people like him? Are we excluded from the music industry all together then? Damon Albarn was lucky to be from a background where creating music and art was encouraged and where money wasn't an issue but what about those who don't have that opportunity?
