15 weeks in. 15 weeks to go. The 2019 will be here before I know it. The miles are going to really start climbing as I progress through the training program! But, there’s no stopping me. I’ll be running the Marathon in loving memory of my dad who we lost to last July, and in support of my son who has to deal with the affects of every single day. More info soon! Poor signal through the park caused the app to mess up, but it actually did 5.5 miles. That’s the first time I’ve run over 5 miles in 6 years since my motorcycle crash. Feeling pretty good about that.

Getting closer to that Sub 30 min 5K goal. might sound pretty slow to most of you, and it is.. But.. Baby steps. Also, I discovered that “A Forest” by The Cure is the perfect metronome to help me keep pace. I’m going to have to put it on a loop. Great song!

If you’re a true fan of the franchise, you’ll like it. My son and I had some issues with some minor details, but overall, really enjoyed it, and we LOVED the throwbacks, and homage scenes. Thumbs up! 👍🏼
