‘Mercury High’ is the 20th single from The Heartland Roots Band, and the third from the upcoming album, upon which the Leicester-based six-piece continue to work.
Adrian Causier says:
‘This is a song I wrote when we were in Italy during the great heatwave last year.
We worked hard together in the studio to try to create the atmosphere of hot and passionate summer’s evenings. We hope you love it as much as we do!’

The new single from The Heartland Roots Band, is a collaboration between the group, and Leicester’s legendary singer/songwriter Johnny Butler.
After seeing a live performance by HRB in 2022, Johnny suggested that they record a deep cut from his extensive Diesel Park West back catalogue, Faithless Life.
The band agreed, on the proviso that Johnny also should add his vocals to the track. The result is a brooding slice of dark country set for release on February 29th. A leap of faith on leap-year day.

The UK's number 1 country-rock group, The Heartland Roots Band, are celebrating the return of lead vocalist Samantha Hobson to their line-up, by releasing 'Pouring Out The Blues'. The song is a heartfelt lament to long-distance love, and features Samantha's most emotionally-raw vocal performance to date.
