The last thing you want as an entrepreneur is a SHOTGUN WEDDING!

Yup, you heard us right!

You don’t want to get forced into marriage because of something rash you did, which is what you’re similarly faced with if you chose to go into business without careful planning and utmost discipline.

Whether you’re getting married or buying a business, you need to understand that these are Major Decisions that could heavily impact your future!

Carelessness in either endeavor may not only cost big sums of money but also time, relationship, physical and mental health, among other things that matter to you.

IF you're NOT with a perfect fit franchise brand – you have no passion for the nature of business nor the industry, and the company culture strongly clashes with your personality and management style – there’s a big chance you won’t be working in an environment that’s conducive for the business’s (and yours) growth.

And so, what you really want is to join a brand that matches your personality, goals and ideals, an industry you strongly and genuinely feel passionate about, a culture that heightens your strengths and supplements your weaknesses, so that you can thrive as a business owner.

In marriage or in business, there’s always going to be (however costly) [a way out]. But when you practice your due diligence and operate with non-negotiable discipline, you’ll (almost certainly) never need to use [it].

You don’t need to be a farmer to know that “you reap what you sow”.

Whether you focus on the positive or negative energies directly impact the nature of what you’ll get in return for your efforts.

No, we’re not talking about voodoo and mystical forces.

We’re talking about the kind of mindset you have towards your business!

Are you a paranoid pessimist who loves playing it safe?

Are you the bold and optimistic risk-taker who fancies being on the edge?

Are you the type to engage in rash decisions or are you one to take your sweet time in choosing a course of action?

These are just some mindsets that you might possess – none of which are inherently right/wrong!

There’s a time for different mindsets, and there’s a need to balance how they influence your business decisions.

If you want to create abundance and wealth, your goal should be focusing on and leveraging the best (positive) aspects of an idea!

Don’t let yourself drown in paranoia but be doubtful of sweet words from prospective partners, and practice due diligence when your gut (and empirical data) tells you a deal is too good to be true.

Don’t get carried away and treat your business assets like easily disposable chips on a casino floor, but keep an open mind regarding educated and calculated risks –undertaken with proven and tested strategies, systems and processes.

Be quick to adapt and respond to change, but before any crisis can brew, take your time to eliminate as much challenges as you can.

TLDR; focus on negative energies and you’re basically digging a grave for your business, but focus on the positive energies and you’ll be skyrocketing your business in no time!

THERE IS A “RIGHT TIME” to get started on your business!

Before you click “unfollow” after reading this seemingly huge contradiction, hear us out…

There’s always going to be an optimal period – wherein most (if not all) things go your way – to setup your business.

Like when you’ve got enough funds to build a business from scratch/buy a franchise, when you’ve already learned things you need to know about your niche/industry, and when you’ve already built the connections to support it.

“AHA! So, there ARE requirements!”

We said there’d be an optimal period, NOT that it’s the ONLY TIME you can get started on your entrepreneurial journey.

The optimal time IS NOT A REQUIREMENT because even when you’re missing pieces to the puzzle, you can still start your business AND in time, become successful!

If we’re talking about requirements…

What you really NEED to find is belief in yourself, in your idea, in your commitment to overcoming the challenges attached to owning a business!

Because when you find that confidence and belief, you become driven.

And with willingness and drive, you give your dreams (of owning a successful business) a chance to come true, no matter the time.

In the end, optimal or not, there is a “Right Time” to start your business, and that time is NOW!
