Part IV (and the conclusion) of our Herb Baumeister series releases at 6PM (EST) on Spotify & Apple Podcasts!

In this episode, we discuss Herb’s escape to Canada and the decisions he made to evade prosecution forever. We also discuss the two men who are believed to have been victims of Herb, the I-70 Strangler murders, and the continued strange occurrences at Fox Hollow Farm. We end the episode with the renewed investigation into identifying the remains of 17 victims that were found at Fox Hollow Farm.

**PLEASE NOTE: Anyone from Indiana and nearby states who have male relatives who went missing in the mid-80s to mid-90s can provide a DNA sample that will be compared to samples from the nearly 10,000 bone fragments found on the Baumeister property. Anyone who thinks they are related to a missing person connected to the Baumeister case should contact the coroner's office at 317-770-4415.

Hey spooky friends! We’re back to discussing serial killers, and today we are starting our series on Herb Baumeister. He was a father, husband, and businessman who harbored quite a few secrets! Born and raised in Indiana, Herb seemed to be a regular, outgoing kid. But things would take a turn during his adolescence, and Herb just became more bizarre as the years went on. Join us for Part I as we take a deep dive into Herb’s life from his childhood through his mid 30s (and all of his wild antics along the way).

Hey guys! We’re back this week with Part II of the chaotic mess known as Pam Smart! In this episode, we discuss the murder of Gregg Smart, Pam’s dramatic discovery of her husband’s body (btw, it was not Oscar worthy), the immediate aftermath of Gregg’s death, and how hard it is for teenagers to keep a murder plot a secret. We also discuss how Pam was caught (super fun!) and how the first gavel to gavel televised trial transpired.

Pam Smart was a vibrant and determined woman with her sights set on becoming the next Barbara Walters. However, she would become a widow and suspect in her husband’s murder by the time she was 22 years old. Join us as we discuss Pam’s background, her relationship with Gregg, and her new job as a media coordinator at Winnacunnet High School. We also introduce the teenagers involved in this case, many of whom would ultimately play a role in Gregg’s murder.

We’ve made it to the final installment of our Green River Killer series, guys! In this episode, we discuss the 1987 investigation into Gary Ridgway, how another man became a suspect in the case in 1989, and Gary’s eventual capture and plea deal. We also discuss the stories of the remaining six victims, including one whose family requested a member of the Green River Task Force to be a pallbearer at her funeral and the final victim to be found. We’re immensely grateful to have been able to tell the stories of the 49 victims and for everyone who has followed along this journey with us!

**PLEASE NOTE: In this episode, we discuss a victim who remains unidentified to this day, Jane Doe B20. Unfortunately, there is no forensic artist rendering of her as there was no skull found with her remains. DNA testing showed this victim was female, but the profile does not match anyone on the missing Green River victim list. Investigators believe that the victim was 13 to 24 years old, Caucasian or of mixed race, had a thin or medium build and had shoulder-length light brown hair. Investigators also believe that this victim may not have been a s*x worker. If anyone listening knows a woman fitting this description, who either disappeared or was killed in the 1970s or early 1980s, you can call the King County Sheriff’s Office at 206-296-3311, or you can send an email to [email protected] .

Hey friends! We’re back to bring you Part IV of our Green River Killer series! In this episode, we discuss the stories of thirteen victims, including one known as Jane Doe B16 for 27 years until she was finally identified, two whose reunions with family members ended in horrendous ways shortly before their deaths, and one whose remains were found in one of the craziest ways possible. We also discuss Gary’s polygraph test and a certain someone who wanted to feel special and tried to insert himself into the investigation (🙄). Buckle up for 1984, guys! It’s pure chaos!

Then, we discuss the stories of ten victims, including one whose roommate had a creepy encounter with Gary and one who was close to giving birth to the child that influenced her to turn her life around. We also discuss how Gary evaded the police, how the boy scouts became involved in the case (what?!), and one thing that Gary did to some victims (post-mortem) that would ultimately lead to his downfall.
