MTCDN and PAI 33rd Founding Anniversary
Mother Theresa Colegio de Noveleta and Patnubay Academy Inc. celebrated their 33rd founding anniversary.
On Monday, December 12, 2022, Mathesians, Pathfinders, together with their supportive parents, and coaches, started the founding celebration with a kick through a bannered tarpaulin with printed grade level carried by the representatives of each class and a colorful float parade participated by all levels. The said parade was accompanied by the PNP Noveleta, band, coaches, and MTC CAT and officers to secure the safety of each student. After the parade, loud cheers and colorful kites were observed at Noveleta Gymnasium, where the celebration was conducted.
The morning event continued with a band exhibition and a roll call for each level. Afterward, a formal program commenced with the entrance of colors, a doxology that was led by the World of Worship Club Organization, and singing of the National Anthem. After that, Sir Aldrin Buella, a science teacher, delivered his enthusiastic welcome remarks. The board of judges for that event was then presented by Ma'am Rosemarie Baldea, a Filipino teacher.
The Foundation's formal celebration began with a mass demonstration in which all levels participated and performed the 2022 wellness dance exercise titled "Sama-sama-sa Wellness." The gymnasium was filled with energy and loud cheers. Following the mass demos, the field demo for each class were presented, with fierce competition. The field demo with a Christmas theme was participated in by all levels, wherein they showcased their moves, Christmas outfit, and "pasabog". After the field demo competition, a music and dance competition followed.
The program continued in the afternoon with a folkdance and hip-hop performance. Later, the awarding of certificates of recognition for judges, and awards for all the winners was introduced. Aside from all the winners and participants from all events. Mr. Yokozhi Janairo, from Grade 12-STEM, was awarded "Best Student" for the month of November. The same month, Grade 8A was awarded “Best Section” in the junior high school category.
The program was formally ended with the closing remarks of Ms. Francia P. Servillon, Assistant School Principal, the exit of colors, and the singing of the MTC Hymn. The first day of the kickoff celebration of the Founding Anniversary was fun and memorable. The program would not have been possible without the help of everyone, from supportive parents and coaches, to Mathesians and Pathfinders, who worked tirelessly to make this event a reality. Kudos to everyone!
