Here is my 1980 BMW R65...

I brought this in back June 2020. I’ve been lucky enough to have a number of motorcycles over the years but you could say this is my first ‘big’ bike.

I have already made a number of changes to it over the past few months, I will be realising more content on what I have done and my plans for the future.(This is what the bike looked like when I first got it)

Onto some specs... it’s a 650cc flat-twin engine with opposing cylinders. Commonly called “airheads” as they are air-cooled. Shaft driven and some say they’re nuclear proof! Easy to maintain and reliable. (We will see how true that is, it already is 41 years old!)
