In the process of becoming an indie game developer through my school. My school requires that I post my progress on whatever programs I may be working on. I'll also be streaming games I'm playing like Destiny 2, Castlevania, Final Fantasy, VRChat, etc.

I will be doing small sketches to try and sooth what's going on in my head. Possible fan art of either games, other artists and pieces, along with possible ideas for a graphic novel. I'm putting myself on a time limit with each sketch to have a drive to at least finish something. Only sketches though so nothing is expected to be 'completed'. I'm open to ideas.

The Story of Purity (the beginning of The Abyss)

Upon millions of years, there existed two wise creatures that had opposing rules. One was named life while the other was named death. Both had equal standing over the world known as Vivamus Interitus. A world of what would appear to be nothing. A dormant floating world where nothing lived. Nothing died.

Life nurtured the world with it’s ever so radiant waves. Vivamus Interitus then flourished with plants, animals, minerals, insects, and several iterations of humans. All capable of magical affinity. The world’s gravitational pull was now resonating with a magic system, aligning billions of networks throughout it’s sphere.

Death plunged the world with it’s cold grip. A surge of thick black energy envelops the world. Creating oceans of dread, breathable air, and a beating heart for those destined for true pure will. The darkness is now an energy that can be created through will of negations. Ultimately curse the world with a horrible outcome.

Due to each other’s changes to their world, they both foresaw the demise of the world in the near future. Life became uneased and grew tired. If Death is inevitable, then was it the point. Death saw this as an opportunity to sway life and offer a form of truce. Death wished to gift life proper rest.

Death and Life came to an agreement. Death will take the duties of life and manipulate them into vessels of five. Each holding both the powers of light and dark. Life saw this as if they had given the world it’s children. However, the dark can always be misconstructed. The vessels flourished with life but each held an immense pit of anguish. The five vessels were born, each of a gift that Death has bestowed. The darkness however consumed Life from it’s very essence. The vessels now grew so powerful, Death ordered the vessels to act relentlessly over each other. If one vessel collects the gifts of the other four, they have the right to challenge Death itself.

Age
Combat
Disease
Hunger
Disaster

Now, all that’s left of life is the gift they’ve blessed upon the world and every 50 years a new five vessels are chosen by Death across the world to face each other. Seeing one vessel become as powerful as the next, Death saw that the vessels couldn’t understand purity’s true meaning and this cycle repeated itself.

In the year 1407, a being who held the strongest heart and a being who held the strongest mind we’re born. The awoken mind was named Mort while the awoken heart was named Abyss. Death gifted them both the power of Disaster to see who would emerge victorious. Mort was a king of manipulating his foes and grew with fear.
Abyss saw no point in overthrowing and wished to be left alone. This left Abyss at a disadvantage. Mort overwhelmed his brethren and consumed him along with the other four powers and was dubbed as the most immeasurable being of darkness. The Abyss was quiet, conjoined with Mort’s will.

From that day forward, the Abyss burdened Mort with a disturbing voice in his head that made Mort go utterly ballistic and became mad. This however made Mort live for 150 years and overthrew other vessels for three terms.

Now the Abyss resides inside Mort as a tool for his will, but someday a being of strong will and judgment will be chosen to combine minds with the Abyss and form what is…

Purity.

And ultimately

Nothing.

Greetings fellow husks.

Do you know who i am?
Of course you don't would be the obvious but, I'm afraid 'he' has cravings he fails to satisfy.

*laughs*

Allow me to explain.

If you were alone in an empty room with just yourself, a wine glass, and I. *smirks* How would you expect to fill the glass?

If you yourself cannot fill that cup, then merely the cup has no purpose. You can try to alter the cup as much as you want but it will always remain empty.

You cannot leave the room because if you do, you will simply no longer be who you are. What you know, you capability, what your particularly 'good' at. *laughs*

It is within your very nature to stay in this room. Why is there nothing in this room? Whys the glass empty in the first place? And who... am I?

So at this point you only have two choices to make. You can either dwell in the room where you stay facing only me and emptiness or...
you can ask me how to fill it.

My response... *smirks*

I hold this glass and will show you
My eyes barely visible for I see only void
I wear a hat for I hide failure yet feel nothing
I have no nose for I only smell fear
I wear a suit for I am sarcastic but a man of business
I smile while I hold this glass for I ask you to join me

I am Mort

At first 'he' didn't understand but *laughs*
Now he does now.

My offer to him was to fill the glass with your failures for it is all you had. Or you can fill it with blood. How about we fill it with jealousy, rage, or better yet *smirks* anxiety.

So for this pathetic soul would rather dwell, ill hold this glass to you and say...

Help fill this glass with inspiration
Or he will remain dormant. A husk. A puppet.

I do apologize in advance for anyone waiting on any projects. My day jobs been kicking my ass. I get so tired when i get home, its almost feels like a barely have anytime. Im working outside in the heat 5 days a week now. I do appreciate the wait and cooperation. You are all saints.

I don't want your money unless my art has caught your attention and you want my creativity to bring an idea of yours to life. That's what makes me feel good, not your money lol.
