A news release from the base says the hangar and several other buildings in Area B were damaged. Some planes that were in the process of being restored were damaged by flying debris. There were no reports of injuries.

"This Air Force has been wild lately and I’m getting fed up. First the Air Force takes away my husbands security clearance because they think he isn’t paying his debt off quick enough when his identity was stolen in 2019 while banking with USAA. They want him to pay about 800$ A MONTH towards his debt and we have 3 kids! Two who are special needs children and one a newborn. And then my husband goes out to practice our religion and he gets demoted for it! Freedom of religion doesn’t mean anything to the Air Force apparently. And now to top it off he finds his date of separation from the Air Force to be the 5th of March of this year! Maybe it’s a glitch but it could not be. But he was not notified of this and never signed anything about it. Someone in his leadership is clearly out to get him. I’m sick of this and the toxic leadership he has. They’ve tried to censor me for the past two years, bringing my husband into their offices telling him to “reel me in”, “tell her to take her posts down” because they don’t like being called out. Well now I’m standing up for myself and my family. I have freedom of speech. You don’t control me. I obey opsec and that’s it. Someone in my husbands shop LITERALLY broke the law, drinking and driving, running from the cops! And isn’t demoted. But for my husband going out to practice his religion, he gets demoted. He was not under “quarters” until he was already back at work. They backdated quarters on him and then demoted him. After he was already back at work. And then he tried appealing the demotion at every level from squadron to wing level and his first shirt tried saying he passed his deadline to bring in his letter, BUT nope, he still had another day. Nice try trying to be shady. I have a screen shot of that message too. When someone is out to get you, this is what happens. My husband is good at his job, multiple awards at his job. You don’t get awards for doing nothing. This Air Force is just crap here at Shady J.

He has also submitted an informal complaint under Article 138 of the UCMJ which was denied and he is in the process of submitting a formal complaint to [**]AF/CC to attempt to resolve the issue and have his rank granted back.

"Hello everyone i recently separated from the military and was coming on here to get some advice or opinions. I was previously stationed at Offutt as a medic. There were a lot of disturbing things that occurred while i was there such as fraternization, abuse of power, and racism. I was always to afraid to report these things because of the power others had over me and the fact that i was an amn. Towards the end of my time there i tried to report some things however i was told by the first sergeant that an investigation could impact my seperation and potentially stop me from doing my skillbridge which is something i wanted to do for years. Now that i’m a civilian and have that safety net i would like to report some of the things that occurred because some of those evils still remain in that clinic to this day. How would i go about this and do you think i could face any repercussions or be called back into service because of an investigation starting? Thank you for any advice given!"
