So after delays on my first Classic TV Paradise Viewer's Choice Week in spite of a trade I will soon be working on. I'm going to set the Trebek Double Dare episodes for Wednesday through a week from this coming Tuesday.

Many of you have heard the news about PlutoTV launching 24-hour Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune channels and there has been a lot of theories out there in terms of what Pluto would be showing. Some have said they'll only the episodes seen on Netflix even one member of one of the forums I'm on said that they might not air episodes that have the Audio Daily Doubles in it due to rights issues.

So here's what my theory is: My theory is that considering that Sony is in fact licensing episodes ranging from older episodes from the 1st seasons to episodes that ran as recently as 2019-20 thing is though if Pluto does this in order as I think they probably could do based on what they've done to the Barker Price Channel without question it'll be some 20 to 30 years before we even reach Alex Trebek's last full season, let alone to the 2019-20 season so for the Jeopardy part there's a lot of questions related to it that I have no answers to but both Sony and Pluto themselves would in due time, will those channels be like the Barker era channel and go in chronological order or will they devote a certain part of the day to say for example, the final 10 seasons of Alex Trebek's run and the other part for episodes between 1984 and 2009 (the first 25 seasons)? Will it include Art Fleming episodes?

Now let's flip over to Wheel, there is A LOT of questions related to Wheel, did Sony only give Pluto the rights to air the nighttime version of Wheel or did Sony also included the rights to air the network daytime versions? If it's the latter, does it only include Daytime episodes ranging from the early 80s to 1991 or does it include Woolery episodes in addition to Benirschke, Goen and of course Sajak? If so how would the Daytime and Nightime Wheel episodes be divided up? Will Pluto put Daytime eps in the certain part of the day with nighttime going to another part or will Pluto focus on doing one version at a time with Fresh episodes (a common practice at BUZZR when it comes to game shows with more than one version)

But more than those questions I believe that within the next year we will find that not only will we see 24 hour channels dedicated to Wheel and Jeopardy but, we'll also see 24 hour channels dedicated to the Bob Stewart (Pyramid, Bill Cullen's Chain Reaction) and Barry-Enright (Joker's Wild, Tic Tac Dough) libraries. Beyond that I say within the next 5 years, those channels also end up on the Roku Channels as well as Redbox like what has happened to the Barker era channel.

My advice is to keep an eye on PlutoTV to see what the next moves they make.

An announcement that I would like to make.

So after talking to Chuck Donegan (btw if you haven't followed his Dailymotion, I recommend doing so) and after getting his approval as well as in light of recent terminations of prominent game show channels I have decided to implement a policy that bars mentioning the names of game shows altogether (not just limited to the Sony game shows but this applies everywhere) and this change will take effect on July 4th when an episode of Bill Cullen's Chain Reaction will be released to the public.

Keep in mind this policy only applies to my YouTube channel unlike episode requests, I will mention the name of the show when I share it on this page to ensure nobody has to guess what show it is that I've uploaded.
