Alpha Toshineza is a francophone MC and graphic designer. Born and raised in Luxembourg. He is the founder of music label Sonlight Operations (fka Jazz Inuit). Alpha started rhyming in the early 90s. He was a member of different rap groups (HLM, MQP, Nouvelle Alliance) before going solo under the name Gospel Emcee. He released his first EP (Bonne Cause) in 2005 and his first album in 2007. In 2014, Alpha moved to Winnipeg. His 2016 album Jazz Inuit earned him a nomination at the Western Canadian Music Awards for "Francophone Artist of the Year » and a SOCAN Price for Best Francophone Song. Alpha loves to collaborate with live musicians but also enjoys going back to the essence of hiphop (one mic, 2 turntables). Alpha will rock the stage with DJ Stop at Winnipeg Jazz Fest, Canada Day and the Northerntouch Music Festival. Alpha has collaborated with many local artists like DJ Crabskull, Elessar Thiessen, Justin Lacroix, Kelly Bado, Selci, Joanna Majoko and many more.W

Alpha Toshineza and Selci recorded this track during the first studio sessions for Alpha's Jazz Inuit album back in 2015. The song came out as a single, then was featured on the album in 2016. A video was scheduled but never finalized. But it was only a matter of realizing the right visuals for the right time. This exactly what this song about Humility in times of fierce adversity means. My this song gives us the strength to comabt evry enemy of Peace and Justice. and when nat sayers accuse us, we just remind them that wisdom also means to recognize that they don't know. enjoy, like and share!!!!

Ziqui is a hiphop artist residing in Bordeaux (France). He started writing and recording songs in 2011. Almost a decade later, the young man stands tall with 7 projects (3 Eps, 2 mixtape and 1 compilation). his latest project "Tout le monde souffre" (Everybody suffers) tries to echo the times we live in. The latest single "Demain dés l'aube" (Tomorrow morning) from this project gives us a Christ-Centered perspective of better days ahead. On May 31, 2019 Triple A was released on all streaming platforms. With this fourth studio album, Alpha Toshineza made a shift in style by working with new producers and adding an electronic edge to his music. 15 YEARS OF MUSIC & MEDIA

“For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?”

In response to these questions, Sonlight Operations is more than just a music label that strives to be successful in the music industry but most important to mentor emerging artists and feed people’s soul, spirit and body with good music.

The music label and media platform was originally founded in 2005. The label has branched out into different brands (Jazz Inuit, Triple A, Audiographic Studio).

In 2018, Sonlight Operations, was finally registered as a business in Winnipeg (MB). As a back office for Alpha Toshineza’s music production, the label works with a network of dedicated artists, beatmakers, musicians, designers and filmmakers who have a drive for holy art. We now celebrate our 15th anniversary with many more projects to come.
