One of our favorite sessions filmed earlier this year at Laurel Cove was with Wes Smith of Brother Smith. We first heard this song last year and we were so excited about it, we asked him to play it for the cameras.

Wes has a really unique sound and it’s been an absolute pleasure anytime we’ve got to hear him play. If you ever get a chance to see him live, in whatever form it may be, absolutely take it.

Charlie Overman visited us at Laurel Cove in 2023 to play a song off his recently released self titled album.

Overman is a Kentucky native and immediately captivated us with this performance. Clearly influenced by the traditional music of Kentucky, he grabbed our attention with his incredible storytelling and we haven’t been able to stop listening.
