Here is my new passion project… Between the Cracks Records.
There were some great bands in the NW who didn’t really get enough recognition, if any. This project wants to shed some light on some of those bands. It’s really a document of the great bands in the area from the 90s who didn’t become superstars.
It will begin with a series of split 7” vinyl. That means there will be a different band/song on each side.

The releases will be comprised of mostly unreleased or rare tracks.
The first 6 bands (3 releases or Series One) are set. The bands are gathering the masters with the goal of going into mastering at the end of Feb 2023. Song titles will be announced soon.
These split 7” records will be limited, individually numbered to 500.
First three releases, Series One, will feature:
Cheap Ones/Ramadillo
Bathtub Gin/Lazy Susan
Goodness/Kitchen Radio
Bands are listed alphabetically, there is no A or B side.

Upcoming series are in the works and will feature Alcohol Funnycar, Diamond Fist Werny, Give, Love Battery, My Sisters Machine, Orbitor… working on others to include.
Series One should be available by Aug/Sep 2023.

The first 200 copies will be available for preorder. When you preorder you get all 3 records plus the digital downloads of all 6 songs plus a bonus Ramadillo digital track.

Plus fames rock photographer Lance Mercer will providing shots for at least one side of each sleeve for series one.

After preorder the records will each have their own release date and will be available for sale by direct mail, at various online outlets and in local record stores on that date. Downloads will be available 6-8 weeks after the records release.

These are all phenomenal bands and I couldn’t be more excited to get these tracks out in the world and available for the first time on vinyl (and in most cases for the first time ever on any format).
This project was partially inspired by this group so I am offering it here first.

Everyone who buys the preorder package will be first in line to get the Series Two preorder package.

Right now the goal is to do at least 3 series or 9 records. This could expand as we get further down this road and more bands get on board. Also planning to release a few full-length LPs and EPs as this project expands. Offering recordings that were never heard or that were in (extremely) limited release 25+ years ago.
