Many people died in Covid-19 virus here in the our country and the PH Government needs to protect the lives of people especially the children. They started the vaccination for 12 to 17 years old for their protection from the virus.

From the start of the pandemic , it affects not only the health but also the income of the family as well as the education sector. Face-to-face classes stopped for the meantime to secure the safety of the Filipino students.

Vaccines were approved by FDA and safe for the teens. Though, we are vaccinated, still don't forget to stay safe and avoid public places.

The Eastern Conference champion Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Western Conference champion Phoenix Suns, 4–2, winning their first NBA championship in 50 years and their second title overall.

The Bucks became the fifth team in NBA history to overcome a 2-0 deficit to win the NBA Finals, the first since the 2016 Cleveland Cavaliers. Two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo closed out the series in style, posting 50 points to clinch the title for Milwaukee and earn Finals MVP honors.

CORONA VIRUS (COVID 19) AS A GLOBAL PANDEMIC

As the year 2020 approached, the whole world have been devastated by the global pandemic. The recent outbreak began in Wuhan, a city in the Hubei province of China. Reports of the first COVID-19 cases started in the months of December to January year 2019-2020. SARS-CoV-2 or also known as Corona Virus (covid-19) is thought to have originated in bats, according to experts. It mainly started at a wet market in Wuhan China wherein they sell different types of wild animals and kill them on the spot to sell it to the customers. As days went by, the virus keeps on spreading until it reached different countries including the US, Italy, India, Philippines and other countries.

Human transmission primarily occurs through direct, indirect, or close contact with infected people through infected fluids such as respiratory secretions, saliva, or respiratory droplets ejected when an infected person coughs, sneezes, or speaks. On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization coined the title COVID-19 and declared this emerging corona virus disease a pandemic. The virus is highly contagious, with a two-to-four-day incubation period. Many infected people are asymptomatic or suffer a mild respiratory disease as a result of their infection. Fever, non-productive cough, weariness, malaise, and dyspnea are the main clinical signs of the condition. In the elderly and individuals with concomitant illnesses, severe disease such as pneumonia, acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), and mortality might ensue. The case mortality rate is expected to be between two and three percent. As a result, the whole world undergone to a massive Community Quarantine and all of the citizens are required to wear face masks and other protective gears.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the tally of Covid- 19 cases globally as of December 2021 have been 263,563,622 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including 5,232,562 deaths. And as of today there are already 7,938,597,991 vaccine doses administered all around the globe. The past two years may be very devastating but the year 2021 have been the year of healing and recovery. Vaccines have undergone different clinical trials before officially administered and used for protection and the WHO together with its partners are working relentlessly to discover, manufacture, and distribute safe and effective vaccinations.

Education reduces the trials you will face in life. It is a significant role in the career world of an individual. As you increase your education, you’ll be gaining a deeper understanding of what’s right, wrong, fair and unfair. The main role of the school is to aid children learn adequate behaviors, reciprocal relationships, the norm of society, and appropriate conflict resolution.

Pinamukan Ibaba Elementary School offers a balance education. It also builds the essence of teamwork and generates a sense of discipline in children. Children learn a wide range of important life skills like good manners, teamwork, sharing, responsibility, and unity. You can learn basic skills, gain more knowledge, meet friends, and absorb valuable lessons.

Education allows us to nurture and learn intellectually. It helps you improve knowledge, skills and experience that we will use in the future.

NEW-GENERATION HEROES; RAISING HOPE WITH VOICES TO INSPIRE

Who is your hero? Teachers in schools introduce us to national heroes such as Dr. Jose Rizal and Andres Bonifacio. They were regarded as one because they were willing to sacrifice their lives for our country, the Philippines. However, as our world changes, modern heroism has emerged. And in certain situations, these modern-day heroes use their voices to inspire, motivate, guide, and raise hope.

Heroes are frequently associated with conflict and battle. In recent history, heroes of war are men who demonstrated bravery "above and beyond the call of duty," risking their own lives to save the lives of others. Heroes in the traditional sense are rare today, but the term "hero" is still widely used. Movie stars are hailed as heroes, athletes are hailed as heroes, and if you've been without power for a few hours. But, are any of those men courageous, and are any of their accomplishments exceptional enough to be heroic?

The year 2020 brought us drastic changes that really affect our society. Many people lost their loved ones due to the pandemic. And in this time of crisis, we were all given a chance to help those who are in need. Doctors and soldiers still chose to fight against modern evil. Even individuals who go above and beyond their abilities shows heroic act.

“Acts of heroism don’t just arrive from truly exceptional people but from people placed in the right circumstance, given the necessary tools to transform compassion into heroic action.” - Philip Zimbardo. This demonstrates that a new generation hero can be anyone, as long as we aren't afraid to speak up and make a difference.

This staircase in front of you is the staircase that tests us every time we enter in school. For me, this staircase symbolizes the flow of life. Whether it is steep or reaches over 100 steps it is not a barrier for us. If you have a dream whatever hinders you, don’t lose hope. It also symbolizes the ascent to life that you will start low and slowly ascend. Despite being tired of climbing, you will do everything for your future.

You will always remember that these are just tests and when you pass it is a huge success. Every step you take on this ladder there are many things you can carry with you when you succeed in life. Some people stumble on this staircase because they are not careful, but it is natural or normal to stagger. There is no man who does not fall, but when they have the courage, strong mind, fitting spirit and the endurance of belief in God, you can stand on your own feet. When you trip and fall do not think that you can’t because all trials have answers and sometimes there aren’t. You should always remember that only trials can be overcome if you are brave so don’t give up and fight.

This is all I can tell students in the future, if they want to achieve something in life you must work hard and do your best. There is no test that can stop the person who wants the change or to change their lives, so just trust the Lord, study well, and follow your dreams because we can all achieve the highest star of our lives. Wait patiently, there’s a bright hope that awaits you. No matter where you start the possibilities, for your future are limited only by the depths of your own imaginations!
