So Coach Ducky did have pocket strats lined up with his dumbaf Kaja prio bans in the Upper Bracket Finals, probing ONIC's picking variations when the go-to hero to catch Nolan/Joy/Wanwan is off the board.

ONIC did try to put their own flavor in the drafts, opening with a prio Dyrroth jg pick, and closing with a Kadita-Yve roam-mid combination, but it FlapTzy's Thamus that rose as the pocket pick for the series.

What a duel by these MLBB juggernauts. Wouldn't be surprised if they traded wins and losses if the series went longer than 7 matches.

GGWP to ONIC. But in the end, only one team can win.

M5 Knockout Stage Day 6: APBren vs ONIC = APBren choke.

Kaja prio ban, really? Same 3 first phase bans for all games, really? Giving both Nolan and Guinevere, without Kaja (banned) as well... REALLY???

I especially feel bad for Owgwen in game 3, picking a Khufra who's tasked to do too much: aside from providing vision, front, initiate and set for the team, he also has to check Nolan, Guine, Harith, and Gusion's counter/initiate.

Yes Game 1 was as close as it gets, but there were some minor details that got overlooked e.g. letting CW Bruno solo defending an inhibitor turret and get away with it... twice.

Also in Game 1, we saw KyleTzy spamming recall. Sure enough, they got spammed recall by ONIC in games 2 and 3. TP DOESN'T MAKE YOU WIN!!!

Hope BLCK wins against APBren in the lower bracket finals; I don't see them having any chance against ONIC, not with that drafting.

M5 Knockout stage is starting today! So far, here are the meta and/or annoying heroes that teams have been going for per roles (in no particular order):

Roam - Arlott, Mathilda, Minotaur
Mid - Valentina, Faramis, Angela, Lylia
Jungle - Joy, Nolan, Guinevere, Baxia, Martis
Exp - Terizla
Gold - Bruno, Wanwan

Note: There are heroes that are picked for multiple positions and played well in those areas (e.g. Guinevere roam), but I put the heroes in their more common roles used.

Congratulations RSG PH, your MPLI 2023 champions!

Losing in the upper brackets against AP BREN then getting them back in the lower bracket, then setting up the Grand Finals against ECHO and the duel that seemed destined between Demonkite and Karltzy... All teams had to Rise Above their previous levels and bring our their utmost best to win.

Bittersweet though is the fact that, despite this being the international tournament immediately preceding the M5 World Championship, we won't be seeing RSG PH prove if they really are the best in the world, just as if they're really the best in MPLI without ONIC ID or the main BLCK lineup participating.

NOW THAT IS WHAT WE CALL A CHAMPIONSHIP PERFORMANCE!!! 🏆

Against all odds, RSG Philippines have shown that they could Rise Above their competition to claim the title of the MPLI 2023 Champions. 🏆

Congratulations, you deserve nothing but the best after that performance 👏

MPLI playoffs day 2 ended with the last 3 teams being all Filipino! Seems PH era is far from over 😎 Echo is waiting in the Grand Finals against the winner of AP Bren and RSG PH. Who will be the first non-ID team to win an MPLI tournament?

Also, my personal favorite game for Day 2 playoffs would be the super-clean game 2 between RSG PH and Homebois.

MPLI 2023 Playoffs day 1 ended with 4 PH teams still remaining and no ID teams already. This will be the first MPLI that we'll have a champion not from Indonesia.

Matches today will be 1 upper bracket and 3 lower bracket matches.

And my suggested match to watch for Day 1 of playoffs is Game 3 of ECHO vs HB. Turnarounds and outplays all throughout the match (not suggested though for those who don't like recall spams 😂).

Only 6 teams remain. Who will take the crown? 👑

Last day of Omlet. Nearly 1500 days and 300 posts made. More than 230k viewers who watched our streams, not even counting multi-stream views. Nearly 2000 moments captured, and even more moments and memories that will be missed.

It's been nearly 1500 days since I started using Omlet Arcade, and it pains me to hear that it'll be gone by June 30, 2023.

Omlet is more than a streaming app for me; it's a community. It's a place I could call home away from home; where I could find friends I normally never would have been able to connect with; where I could be who I am 100%.

Personally, I've played and streamed innumerable games, most of which aren't worth streaming TBH 😂 but also lots of others that are still very much worth the experience and gameplay. I've streamed for minutes, hours, and even more than a whole day. I've streamed watch streams (as well as sleep streams 🤣), been a caster for tournaments as well as tournament participant. I've shared personal struggles and failures, as well as celebrated little successes. I've posted about games, other's tournaments/giveaways/comeback streams/other promotions, personal opinions, recaps/reviews, milestones, quitting games, video gameplays of myself or others, viewer voting and yes, even Sudoku 🤦. I've made and bought some Omlet NFTs. I've had 17k+ followers, but I only did 1 face reveal 🤪.

With fellow streamers, there were a lot. I've had shouts with viewers, as well as embraced their personal pains, thoughts, opinions and views. I've watched and supported innumerable streamers, shared their different platforms, and played games together with hundreds of them (at least), and played with a handful of them some hundred to thousands of times. I've had stream collaborations with fellow streamers, podcast (?) call stream, tournaments. I've had fellow streamers come and go in grinding out different games, reaching various milestones, working out new strategies to best beat a game, and other times reconnecting with people who came back to Omlet to stream again. I've had viewers give us in-game items (once had someone sent me an Omlet T-Shirt 🤩), Omlet gifts and sponsorships, and also gave back to others in our own little way. I've also met some streamers IRL that will always be close to my heart, no matter how far apart we are.

With Omlet, I've seen the best and worst of myself, as well as the best and worst in others, and all those, I am forever grateful.
