The wind has finally given us weekend anglers a break and the past 2 weekends have been 🔥 for topwater reds in Pointe à la Hache. The matrix mullet and the tried and true Matrix Shad avocado paired with a trout magic jig head have been the ticket. Video coming soon 🎣

Closing day of the 2014-2015 season. This was the first year I had ever duck hunted and it was a rough one for me. I hunted every Saturday morning for a full season and shot a total 11 ducks, 6 of which were shot on the closing day! I was immediately hooked though. Even though the last few seasons haven’t been the greatest at our lease, I still look forward to every hunt and can’t wait until next season. 7 months and counting 🦆🔫
