One of our new writers for Issue 2 is , who’s using her personal experiences as a black woman abroad to share a unique perspective on how it feels to exist simultaneously as a tourist, and a tourist attraction.

Michelle is also an active content creator on Youtube who uses her platform to share her experiences in travel and as an aspiring attorney. The result of the November 2020 Presidential Election is one that hopefully changes the trajectory of the United States. Kamala Harris, a Black woman, a South Asian woman, is the first woman to be elected Vice President in our nation’s history, making a space for Black people and people of color at a table we’ve never had the honor of being invited to before now. We hope that this team leads with integrity, acceptance, and the true best interest of our country at heart. After four years of bigotry, racism, and facism, it’s time to hold our new leadership accountable and start anew.
