How to perform Abhisheka seva to the supreme lord ?

This was my first Krishnastami after I have started following the Vaishnavism and became the devotee of lord Krishna (ISKCON member).

Bhagavata puranam describes how yashoda and Nanda Maharaja celebrates krishna's first birthday. All the learned Brahmanas were invited and they chanted vedic hymns. During the chanting, krishna was bathed by mother Yashoda.

You can also perform abhisheka Seva at your home on the auspicious day of janmastami and you can also do abhisheka on Ekadshi. You can arrange for hare - krishna kirtana or Sri Brahma-samhita or simply chant hare-krishna mantra while performing Abhishekam to the lord.

After the abhisheka seva, you have to offer the bhog/naivedya that you have prepared to the lord and after that offer Harathi to the supreme lord.

⛈️Rather than saying we didn't get time to practice, it's better saying that we did "On the spot performance"...

⛈️Actually, we didn't get time to make her practice the steps for the Annual Day function due to our office work. I told her to watch the video of the song just before day of the function and she learnt by watching it. And in the night at 11pm I taught her few steps and to remember the steps. That's all is our practice for the function... And here we go with the performance...🥰⛈️🌧️

Simple experiment to explain kids how does it rains
Water cycle💦🌧️ is the significant aspect of whether.
All the children are curious about
🌧️why and how it rains?
🌧️Where is the water coming from?
🌧️Why are the clouds grey on a rainy day?
☔The kids starts asking these sort of questions about the weather. So to get a better understanding about rains we have done this water cycle experiment.
☔Since this is a rainy season my L was very much curious about rain 🌧️ and rainyday animals so we are doing all the rainyday activities.

Multiple ways of using LEGOS | Learning with LEGOS | Promotes Fine Motor Skills | Develops Persistence, Self-esteem ~ Halleybuzz

Have you ever thought of using LEGOS in different ways to entertain your child?
"LEGOS", These are the toys that every child would like to play with and it's a must available toy in every household.
You can use legos in different ways based on the age of your child.
Here are the few different ways to use legos:-
🌼PATTERN MATCHING: Trace the different legos on a paper and ask your child to match the color and pattern.
🌼 Counting and Learning Numbers: Count and match the number which is shown and ask your child to arrange it in sequence
🌼Shapes Forming: Draw different shape and ask your child to arrange the legos on those shapes.
🌼 Alphabet Framing/Learning: Write the alphabts on the legos with a temporary/permanent marker and teach your child or you can ask them to frame the letters.
🌼 Pattern Arranging: Use the legos to make a pattern and ask your child to arrange them in the same pattern.
🌼LEGO PUZZLE: Paste the cutouts of different shapes on legos and ask your child to match them.

IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT TANTRUMS

1. TANTRUMS ARE A NORMAL PART OF CHILD'S DEVELOPMENT. THEY ARE VERY COMMON IN CHILDREN AGED 1-3

2. CHILDREN'S SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL NEEDS ARE JUST STARTING TO DEVELOP AT THIS STAGE AND THEY OFTEN DON'T HAVE THE WORDS TO EXPRESS BIG EMOTIONS AND HOW TO EXPRESS AND MANAGE FEELINGS.
TANTRUMS IS ONE OF THE WAYS.

3. HUNGER, TIREDNESS AND OVER STIMULATION ALSO LEADS A CHILD TO THROW TANTRUMS

4. WHEN CHILDREN WHINE, GET DEMANDING OR OTHERWISE MISBEHAVE,IT IS A SIGN THEY NEED MORE CONNECTION AND HELPFROM US WITH THEIR EMOTIONAL PROCESSING.

5. WE DON'T ALWAYS NEED TO KNOW 'WHY' A TANTRUM OCCURS!

6. OUR ABILITY TO SELF-REGULATE DURING THE TANTRUMS IS THE KEY.

7. THE LOUDER THEY YELL, THE YOU SHOULD SPEAK. AND GIVE YOUR CHILD SOME SPACE.

8. CREATE A DIVERSION. SOMETIMES IGNORE OR LAUGH IT OFF. ELSE, GET YOUR CHILD OUT OF THERE TO ANOTHER PLACE IF YOU ARE OUTSIDE.

9. DISCIPLINE WITHOUT SPANKING. NEVER EVER DO IT. TAKE A DEEP BREATH INSTEAD AND CALM DOWN IF YOU TEND TO LOOSE YOUR COOL.

How to Respond to a child when he/she Complains?

✓ DEFINE IT
Discuss the "nice voice" or "strong
voice" inside of everyone. How does
that voice sound? Practice asking for
things with a strong voice.
✓ LISTEN AND VALIDATE
Make eye contact, do not interrupt, and
accept without judging. Use the "I hear
you...AND" method. For example, "I
hear that's not what you wanted...AND
we have no control over the weather."
✓ GIVE A CHOICE
When your kids start to complain,
clarify what they want to happen as a
result. Say, "It sounds like you're
frustrated right now. Do you need to
vent or do you want to make a plan?"
✓ REPHRASE AND REFRAME
Rephrase complaints as a "want" or a
"wish." If your child hates her new toy,
say: "You want a different toy" (Hidden
message: you are a child who knows
her likes and dislikes).
✓ SET LIMITS
Give a time limit for Complaining or set
aside a daily "complaint time". This is
ideal for kids who whine frequently
and need greater limits.
✓ RESPOND PLAYFULLY
Once kids know about their "strong
voice" and how to use it, playfully offer
to find it when it disappears. Say, "Hey,
where did your strong voice go? It was
here a minute ago...Help me look. Is it
under the chair? Hey! You found it!
Now let me hear you use it!"
✓ FIND THE GOOD
Empathize and then help kids notice
the positive. Empower kids with
several key questions:
What can you learn from this?
How would you like things to be?
How can you take it there?

These are the different ways to respond to a Complaining Child. The usage of words are very important.
