Felix‘s journey began with a tough cancer diagnosis at 24, which changed his life. During treatment, he and his girlfriend rebuilt an old Fiat Ducato into a campervan, which helped him cope and dream during difficult times. After treatment and overcoming personal losses, he was driven to truly embrace his passion for adventure. He bought a Land Rover Defender and started a spontaneous trip eastward. In the Arabian Peninsula, Felix learned to navigate deserts and even took up kite surfing. His travels taught him to adapt to changes and underscored the importance of self-care and maintaining his vehicle.

In 2020 Safety Boat Services in Norfolk teamed up with Jeff Willner and Steve Brooks to convert two Landrover Defenders into amphibious vehicles for an unprecedented London to New York expedition. Despite challenges, the vehicles successfully navigated the Thames, the Seine, and made a significant English Channel crossing. They faced and overcame mechanical difficulties and rough weather, showcasing a blend of engineering skill and adventurous determination. Currently, the team is preparing for the next leg of their extraordinary expedition.

What an adventure! 🔥

Meet Felix, ! After being confronted with blood cancer and surviving it, he decided to take his Landrover Defender on an overland adventure from Germany all the way to Oman and beyond. After 5 months into his 30.000+ km trip he passed through beautiful Iran. Even though Felix couldn't stay in Iran for long due to political instabilities, the people and the landscape left a lasting impact on him.💛

After a short break from his overland adventure, he recently returned to Dubai to pick up his Defender and continue his travels on the Arabian Peninsula.🔥
