Today, Kingda Ka was imploded Six Flags Great Adventure early this morning. I don’t know how I feel. Going to the park in less than a month is going to be surreal not seeing the top hat as I drive down 537! Such a sad day today!

It is now officially, official! Both Kingda Ka and Zumanjaro are getting completely removed at Six Flags Great Adventure...

Based on the media release coming from it seems Kingda Ka will be getting a similar treatment or makeover like Top Thrill got at Cedar Point. I KNEW Kingda Ka wasn’t going to be torn down. Also note that Zumanjaro was never mentioned once anywhere solidifying this prediction. I am sad about the Skyway though as it is a historical ride. Let me know your thoughts about what is going to happen to the area.

Today I’m at Six Flags Great Adventure to ride both Kingda Ka and Green Lantern in case the rumors are true which I don’t think they are. If they are I will be satisfied that I got one last ride in!
