Call for Submissions - PLEASE SHARE!

Not of This Wold – A Collection of the Strange, Supernatural and Mysterious.

Is something weird lurking in Lincolnshire? A UFO? A big cat? A spectre or ancient evil? A strange and creeping fear? Perhaps you’ve had your imagination captured by local legend and folklore, or you’ve been imagining your own strange histories?

Whatever it may be, we want to hear about it.

We welcome submissions of prose, creative non-fiction and poetry exploring themes of weirdness and Lincolnshire. They may be supernatural, terrestrial, serious or humorous in nature; your imagination is your only limit. Similarly, we welcome a blend of styles and genres in all work.

Submissions should be a maximum of 2000 words, and we would ask that you submit no more than three pieces of creative work for consideration. At this point, we are unable to consider artwork for inclusion.

Please include a 150 word biographical note with each submission.

Submissions close 10th January 2025.

Successful submissions will be included in ‘Not of This Wold: A Collection of Weird Lincolnshire Writing’ (Final Title TBC). The collection is due to be published in April 2025 to coincide with Not of This Wold Festival, held in Louth, Lincolnshire.
