A tribute to one of my all time favorite films. The person i am today has been very much shaped by movies such as this one. I remember being younger and watching this with my dad. I was probably 12 or 13, but I remember this movie, absolutely breaking my heart and opening my eyes to a specific type of pain in the world in the form of inequality, and the unnecessary suffering it begets. The movie also forces you into a specific type of moral dilemma, on the question of right and wrong. The ethics of John taking hostages in the hospital in order to save his sons life. How far would you go to protect your children? The complexity of that question made this an amazing film to watch.

The goal behind these videos, and all of my work, has always been to reach people and help them, even if we never meet. Late night preview for the insta. Been working on Dune for some time now. There is a reason I take up to a month or two on each video and that's because I throw myself entirely into these projects. Experimenting heavily with sound on this. Still have a way to go but I will pour everything I have into this.

About 3 years ago I made this video with the promise of a part 2. I plan on making my way back to this style of editing (multifandom), expanding and experimenting with new methods of telling a story. This video, in particular, is one of the closest to who I am, how I think and perceive the world. Being a multifandom, it gave me the freedom to express these ideas clearly.
