✨ My 2024 travel round-up ✨

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 January-First time in London since I was maybe 12? Started off as cool experience, but unfortunately got super ill on the trip and tourist attractions were overwhelmingly busy 🫠.. we visited London in March again though!

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 February- Got invited to for a wonderful weekend stay, for their raindrop festival, house tour, live music and sauna on the beach. One of my favorite memories from 2024!

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿March&April - We traveled around Scotland and London loads with family, visited , , Johnie Walker Whiskey Experience was awesome, and we gave London another chance and loved it!

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 May- Visited a few of oir favorite Scottish attractions like and saw the equipment for Outlander filming, as that was their set at the time! 😍, visited lovely and we took a weekend roadtrip to the Lake District.

🇧🇪 🇳🇱 🇪🇸 June- We spent a week in Sitges in Spain, the best holiday, some highlights were Montserrat, Sitges town and Sagrada Familia! Had loads of tapas, carpaccio and ice cream, I miss this place! Then after 2 cancelled and 1 delayed flight we managed to fly in to Brussels on a Saturday morning and flew home on a Sunday afternoon. Short but very nice trip!

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 🇨🇿 July&August- An absolute highlight was Isle of May, the most fairytale island, with thousands of birds and very cute puffins.. 🐦 We spent a lot of time at home in South Moravia enjoying our local traditions like “hody”.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿September-We visited York for the first time and I was blown away! What a gorgeous town!

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 October- Autumnal Pitlochry and

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿November-Gorgeous walk around Loch Ard and the best stay at in Oban!

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 December- A lot of uni work and a great bus tour by around Glencoe and Loch Ness 🦕🌊

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 How I explored Glencoe, Loch Ness, and the Cairngorms all in 13hrs!

Last weekend, I was invited by and took my friend Rania along on a 13-hour journey through some of Scotland’s most iconic landmarks, including Glencoe and Loch Ness. We explored the historic Urquhart Castle, enjoyed a stunning cruise with , and peeked at other landmarks from the bus, such as the Kelpies, Stirling Castle, Doune Castle, Ben Nevis, Fort William, and Inverness.

The entire trip was awesome. From the breathtaking stops at Glencoe and Loch Ness to exploring Urquhart Castle and soaking in the views on the boat cruise, it was a new and great experience for me. I’m so used to always having to be on guard because I’m the one organizing everything, but this time, it was so nice to just tag along and not worry about a thing.

Our guide for the day was amazing; he started talking at 8 a.m. and didn’t stop until 8:30 p.m. when we got back to Edinburgh! He’s basically a walking encyclopedia of Scotland. Surprisingly, this tour is a great choice for winter. You get to explore Scotland’s nature, but with plenty of breaks on the bus to warm up when it’s cold or take cover from the light rain.

November is a busy month for me and fellow marketers, Christmas promotions are in full swing, so work is hectic, plus uni deadlines too. ✨ My new favourite spot near Edinburgh… Dalkeith Country Park is such a lovely estate with loads to do! You can go for a relaxing walk through the Old Oak Wood, check out some cute independent shops with products you won’t find anywhere else, or just chill at the café with a coffee or ice cream. There’s even a nice restaurant if you fancy a proper meal. They also have Go Ape and another playground for kids.
