Updates: I still can’t believe 2022 is here. Man, time just goes by so fast!!! As you guys have been seeing, I’ve been picking up other skills, developing better habits and having fun with various hobbies! And it’s been super life-giving and refreshing! I really hope 2022 is a year where you’ll nurture and take care of your creative mind. Drink water, take breaks, be present, make new friends, nurture your current relationships, and learn something new everyday!

1/3 - CALI BABY.
Ok, definitely one of my favorite trips. If you like to people watch, I recommend the skate park hahaha. It’s so cool seeing people learn new tricks. It’s even better when you see parents supporting their kids and reminding them how badass they are, no matter how many times they fall and scrape a knee.
And of course, I enjoyed the sun, getting a nice tan and loved spending time with my girl.
3/3 - “waiting.” Ft.
My therapist encouraged me to “unplug” 2x a week for 18 mins. Unplug myself from my phone, laptop, etc. I turned everything off, sat uncomfortably in the silence, cried a little, and prayed. It was weird at first. I sat there waiting for something and I realized God just wanted me to be still.
I then got really hungry and made myself a bowl of cereal LOL. But, man. If you can unplug for just a bit, do it. It’ll be so good for you. Sometimes, you just need to step away from the noise. Oh, missed that notification? That can wait.

What were you waiting for? Was it worth it?
Waiting helped me clear my head. Figure out what I want. Who I want to surround myself with. Who I am as a creative. What I needed to prioritize. Waiting gave me the silence I needed to get away from the noise.
Wait before you speak. Wait before you say yes. Just wait for a second. And in the process, trust God.
