Just watched “Clerks 3” last night. I was really looking forward to seeing this film because the 2006 sequel in my opinion was an instant classic with it’s raunchy humor & pop culture references; plus Rosario Dawson looked cute as hell in that picture. Now flash forward to 2022 “Clerks 3”, it is not a terrible movie but along with it’s nostalgia, raunchy humor and pop culture references, for starters Kevin Smith repeats himself with “ Randall and Dante” are making a movie about their life at the convenient store, which seemed a little familiar because not too long ago in “Jay & Silent Bob: Reboot” Jay & Silent Bob are trying to stop a movie about themselves getting made. Most of all, I found the story to be a little depressing with the characters dealing with health issues, life experiences & loss (I guess that is Kevin Smith’s way of expressing his own experience with a heart attack). I am curious if anyone else watched it and what is your opinion?
