The Department of Defense announced on January 25, 2007 that the remains of U.S. Navy Cmdr. Peter Mongilardi, Jr., of Haledon, New Jersey, missing in action from the Vietnam War, has been identified and was returned to his family for burial with full military honors at Arlington National Cemetery.
