Deaf Family Matters

It’s funny that I went into the haunted house, and I’m Deaf AF! I can’t hear people scream, but someone tried to scare me, and they knew sign language! So cool! Amazing!!!! I I haven’t gone to the movies with my young children, but I did go with my oldest, and I was really frustrated, so I stopped going. THROWBACK! Learning sign language is a powerful way to connect with Deaf family members and make them feel truly included. It fosters better communication, understanding, and strengthens family bonds. When families make the effort to learn ASL, it shows love and respect for the Deaf person’s identity and needs.
