Difficult experiences can test and further strengthen a person's inner strength and resilience.
Challenges can bring out the best in you and help you grow.
This year was full of challenges. I faced a breakup and all the emotional turmoil that followed. I found myself moving to a new country twice, without the support of anyone. And at work, I took on added responsibilities that I initially believed were beyond my capabilities.
Despite my initial doubts, these experiences have ultimately brought out the best in me, helping me grow in ways I never thought possible and leading me to the conclusion that I can bear more than I thought was possible. It might be emotionally painful and mentally draining, but with a positive mindset and attitude, the cloud will pass, and eventually the sun will shine again.

The value of silence often goes unnoticed. It’s in the absence of sound that creativity finds its most fertile ground.
Silence provides the mental space needed for thoughts to form, ideas to incubate, and creativity to flourish.
In addition, when faced with a complex issue, it can be the catalyst for insight. It enables us to analyze, dissect, and reconstruct our thoughts, leading to solutions.
When we intentionally seek out moments of quiet, we gain the ability to connect with our inner selves, fostering a deeper understanding of our desires and motivations. This self-awareness can be a wellspring of inspiration.
I admit that I’m still learning to appreciate silence. My day is pretty busy with learning to use Adobe Premiere Pro, Etsy tools, thinking about ideas. Moments of silence come at night (my favourite part of the 24 hours). However before going to sleep, I like to listen to inspiring podcasts or relaxing sounds. That isn’t silence, but I’m doing the best I can do right now.

Despite my efforts to maintain clarity and tidiness in my thoughts and ideas, I must admit that I am inherently chaotic. Perfection is so far from my personality. While I believe I am organized, when it comes to actualizing a project, my messy traits come alive, resulting in a notebooks filled with scribbles that gradually take shape. Patience with myself becomes crucial during this process.
This is what I found out.👇
1️⃣💭Divergent and convergent thinking are two cognitive processes that play a significant role in problem-solving and creative thinking.
Divergent thinking is the ability to generate a wide range of possible solutions or ideas to a given problem. It involves exploring multiple perspectives, being open to new possibilities, and thinking outside the box.
During divergent thinking, the mind seeks to produce diverse and creative solutions, even if some of them might seem unconventional.
However, you may need to work on organizing and implementing those ideas effectively.
2️⃣💭Convergent thinking, on the other hand, is the process of narrowing down the potential solutions or ideas to find the best or most appropriate one.
It involves evaluating and analyzing the various options generated during divergent thinking to reach a specific, focused conclusion. Convergent thinking is characterized by a more linear and logical approach.
However, you might benefit from embracing more creativity and exploring a wider range of possibilities.
⚖️Identifying one’s predominant thinking style is crucial for personal growth as it allows for better self-understanding and development.
Knowing whether you lean towards divergent or convergent thinking helps you understand your problem-solving and decision-making tendencies.

I understand that anxiety can make it challenging to see beyond the storm. It can feel overwhelming, and the idea of finding joy amidst the chaos may seem unrealistic or even impossible. But please know that you are not alone in this journey, and there is hope.
First and foremost, remember that it’s okay to acknowledge and permit yourself to feel what you feel without judgment. It’s okay to take the time you need to process and navigate through the storm.
While waiting for the storm to pass may seem tempting, I encourage you to consider a different approach. Instead, try focusing on building resilience and finding strength within yourself. Recognize that you possess the inner resources to face the challenges that come your way.
Learning to dance in the rain is not about denying your anxiety or pretending it doesn’t exist. It’s about developing coping strategies and seeking support to navigate through the storm with greater ease. This could involve exploring relaxation techniques, such as deep breathing, mindfulness, or seeking therapy or counseling to help you better understand and manage your anxiety or surround yourself with a supportive network of friends, and family.
Lastly, remember that you are not defined by your anxiety. It is only one aspect of your life, and countless other dimensions make you unique and special.
You have incredible strength within you, even if it may not always feel that way. Trust in your ability to weather the storm, knowing that brighter days will come.
