On October 23, 1983, a su***de bombing struck the U.S. Marine barracks in Beirut, Lebanon, killing 241 American service members.

The attack was carried out by Hezbollah, marking one of the deadliest days for U.S. forces since World War II.

What is Rwanda doing in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and why has it been allowed to go on for 30 years?!

A Rwanda-backed rebel group has captured two regional capitals in eastern DRC. Rwanda first invaded after the 1994 genocide claiming to be hunting down genocidaires, but since then, the Rwanda-backed M23 militia has been profiting off of the minerals in the eastern DRC. Those same minerals are what power your smartphone and electric car, among many other devices…

After nearly 3 decades of conflict and 6 million deaths (you read that number right), the world is finally joining the DRC in calling on Rwanda to remove its troops and halt all funding to rebel forces in the eastern Congo. But will it work or is the international community too late?

🇨🇳🇺🇸 Are Chinese spies infiltrating the West? Here’s what you need to know about recent Chinese espionage:

1️⃣ October 2024: Five University of Michigan students were charged for concealing evidence from a 2023 visit to a U.S. military base.
2️⃣ FBI: The FBI notes increased instances of Chinese students taking photos of U.S. military sites and being targets of Chinese government intelligence recruitment.
3️⃣ August 2023: Two Navy officers were caught trading U.S. defense secrets for bribes. ⚓
4️⃣ April 2024: Multiple German and British citizens were arrested for passing espionage for the Chinese government. 🇩🇪🇬🇧
5️⃣ CSIS Report: Chinese cyber-attacks and spying are on the rise, with nearly 46% of cases involving cyber espionage. Notable incidents, like the 2023 spy balloon, are not included in this data. Is this just the tip of the iceberg?
