Look at the following chance to hold a lecture for interested people on geography topics.

I am writing to you on behalf of a project called "Where Does Europe End? 2.0" which is led by a team of members of AEGEE (European Students' Forum) from all over Europe. Our project is about examining how young people perceive Europe while spreading knowledge about “European identity”, Europeanism, and empowering young people to become active European citizens. We want to reach these aims through a series of events that will take place in 2021, both offline and online. There will be a series of Case Study Trips and conferences. In the end, all of these events will contribute to a set of policy recommendations, which will be directed towards relevant European stakeholders. On Wednesday the 12th of May – Thursday the 13th of May 2021 we are organizing a conference on the topic of European history and geography. Throughout the event we want to focus on the influence history and geography has had on Europe, such as how history has influenced our identity as European citizens as well as how the geographical context of the countries we live in has shaped our identity and the relations between different states. On the first conference day, the primary focus will be on history, on the second day it will be geography. The conference will be from 15:00-19:00 on both days and will consist of several workshops as well as interactive discussions. Considering the current COVID-19 situation, this event will be held online.Given the wide field of geographical knowledge and expertise within EGEA, we were wondering whether a member or team of yours would be interested in giving an (interactive) lecture, session or workshop on a human-geography related topic on Thursday the 13th of May, from 16:00 - 17:30 CET. The direction in which this session could go is broad, it could for example be about intercultural dialogue in a specific region or international relations and conflicts. If no-one is available at the specific time slot mentioned, but EGEA is still interested in participating in our event, there might be other options as well. For example we would like to have an interactive discussion at the end of each conference day, where organisations would be more than welcome to share their points of view with us.We would be open to have an online meeting should you have any questions you want us to answer in person. We are looking forward to hearing back from you!
