Dear friends, WYOB is gone. The license was returned to the FCC in 2019, and the station no longer exists .

We’re off-island for the Winter. Hope some folks discovered WYOB was back on and got some enjoyment out of the music. Thanks to Skip Finley for making it possible. See ya next Summer!

Check out WYOB on 105.5 FM as we seek to keep the frequency alive. Here’s what we’re playing this August on the station founded in 2015 by Skip Finley.

6-10 AM Mon-Sun, and Sunday evenings - "The Great Years" - Big Bands, Ballads, Croomers, and "Standards" (Mathis, Sinatra, Glenn Miller....)

10 AM - 6 PM Mon - Sun - “The Squid” - A Mix of Vintage Soul, R&B, Dance, Reggae, and Oldies

6-10 PM Mon - Thurs - “Vineyard Vibes” - Modern Jazz

10-Midnight - “Beautiful Music” from JIB on the Web (as heard on Boston’s WJIB.)

Weekly shows:

Friday evening 6-9 PM - Wolfman Jack “Graffiti Gold”

Friday evening 9 PM to 1 AM and Saturday evening 6 PM to 1 AM - “The Vineyard Underground” (Music of the Woodstock generation - Hendrix, Havens, Dead, Doors, Traffic, .)

Sunday Noon - 3PM The World Reggae Show.
