Thank you, Lord. Thank You for raising up an army of caring people who are doing what they can to help those devastated by hurricane Helene to get through this very difficult time of their lives. Thank You for Samaritan's Purse and all they are doing. Thank You for the organizations, people, and companies who have responded to this disaster with helping hands. Lord, the road to recovery is going to long and hard for these suffering people, and I ask that you help them to not be forgotten. I ask that in the midst of the chaos many, many people will find peace and joy in a saving knowledge of you. And Lord, there is another hurricane that is heading for Florida this week. It sounds like it's going to hit a lot of the area already hit hard by Helene. We pray for these people that they will take the necessary precautions to stay safe as much as is possible. We ask as well that this storm will move many to open up their hearts to You. Lord, it really seems like we are quickly approaching your return. I pray that people will take notice and get right with You before it's too late. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

Lord, we join our hearts today to lift up all those whose lives have been devastated by Hurricane Helene. Lord, homes and businesses have been destroyed. Lives have been lost. Roads have been washed away. Dams have broken. Bridges are gone. Power lines are down everywhere. Lord, so many are without the bare necessities of life. So many are now homeless without any idea as to what they are going to do. I ask that You give hope to the hopeless. I ask that You send help to the helpless. I ask that You send love to those who so desperately need it right now. Lord, I ask that you do a mighty work of redemption through this tragic situation. I ask that there will be many brought into the family of God who otherwise would not give thought to their souls. I ask that You bless those who will be ministering in these areas. I ask that You watch over them and keep them safe. Lord, bless everything that is done to help in Jesus' name. I ask that You just provide what is needed to help rebuild lives. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
