Im selling my 2 wheel drive 85 Dodge Ramcharger Royal SE. Llama Barn Valiant is getting expensive and I need some more cash. Clean title in my name. 360v8, 727 auto trans. Runs well enough to get on a trailer. Stops well enough to not roll off the front. It’s a project. Pwr windows work. It has air conditioning, pwr locks, cruise control and tilt wheel. Grant aftermarket tuff wheel. New struts for the back lift gate. Turbine wheels. It’s pretty complete and the body is pretty straight but does need work to be a driver. $5,000 or best reasonable offer.

Engine paint turned out great! Seems to have stuck to the block even in the cold and is drying nicely. Now it’s time for engine and transmission to get bolted together before they are lowered back into the car. Forward progress is happening.

Yesterday I had the opportunity to look at a 1973 Chrysler Town & Country Wagon. 440, 727, 3.23 rear end with a factory tow package and Kelsey Hayes brake controller. Very cool car. I ultimately passed on purchasing it, but it was still a fun one to look at. Chrysler made some great wagons in the 60’s and 70’s.

318 is painted! Once it dries it’ll be assembly time! Chrysler corporate blue is my favorite Chrysler color.

My friend’s beautiful, purple, 440-4spd Cuda. He is running throttle body fuel injection. It’s a very nice car.

Thank you to for letting me swipe a few vintage photos of Llama Barn Valiant from your Instagram account. And also to for selling me the car. This car has come a long way and is so close to having another motor and transmission installed so it can be ready to rip up some autocross tracks in the northwest. Originally a slant six, three speed on the column, bench seat, rubber floor mat car to a small block, 4-speed, bucket seat, carpet car. So many upgrades and more to come! Glad Colin saved it from being a parts car or sold for scrap.

Really productive two days off on Llama Barn. Installed the passenger seat today, two freeze plugs and two coolant drain plugs. Those freeze plus were a pain to get in and straight. Hopefully they don’t leak as the are behind the bellhousing and clutch. The seats are mismatched as one was given to me and the other one I got as a pair. I traded the original bench for two buckets. They will work for now.

Pulled C4, my 1970 Dodge Coronet 440, out of the garage for a quick bath and warm up. It was dusty from sitting in the garage too long. It’s raining in Oregon so what better time to wash the car. Wish I was back in sunny so-cal on Hot Rod Power Tour West right now.

Happy New Year! Spent some time on Llama Barn again today. Removed the exhaust system and ratty front bumper. Pulled her out of the shop, pressure washed, comet washed, and used scotch brite to remove a ton of rust stains and grime. I installed the tan tuff wheel, love the look, and installed a really nice used bumper I scored off of a parts car. Productive day!

Bought a factory tan Chrysler tuff wheel. Not sure how many were made but I haven’t seen any other ones but this one locally. And the correct Speedo gear for llama barn Valiant now that I changed to 17 inch wheels for autocross.

Bucket seat installed for mockup. Fits right and feels good. I also put up my Christmas signs my family got me in the shop. Productive evening!

Took the family to the range today for a little trigger time. Rainy and miserable but the shooting station was covered. Awesome rainbow on the way home too.

More Llama Barn Valiant progress today. Installed my “new” used tail lights from , a fresh trunk seal, and removed the carpet to test fit bucket seat brackets for the racing buckets I plan to install. And I had to throw the hood scoop on just as a mockup… doing a little dreaming and scheming.

Made a bunch of progress on Llama Barn today. Driver door glass installed. This car has had a plexiglass window in the driver door for over 5 years. Firm Feel Stage 2 Steering box and new pitman arm installed. I also fixed the grill and found hardware so it is solidly mounted and won’t rattle and squeak like crazy. New trunk lock so I can use a key to get in it, intake installed on the motor, a few parts painted, and a very cool little harbor freight tool box. It was a fun day off.

Just made a cannonball run to Missoula Montana, a 1,235 mile round trip, to pick up a commercial zero turn mower for a customer before the end of the year. Big Sky Kubota to Rickreall Farm Supply. Crossed four states, snow, wind, rain and lots of night driving. My oldest son was my sidekick and we had a great time! Super happy or be home safe.

A little bit hard to see but that’s a 3D printed ram hood ornament for the Ramcharger. It looks and fits great! And, after a lot of work, and help from a couple friends, I was able to get the Ramcharger registered. It has been off the road and unregistered since at least 2008.

Checking lights on the 68 Charger before we rolled home. The lighting on this car is iconic! The round tail lights, the bullet marker lights and the hideaway headlights. Dodge hit a home run with this car.
