New studio software is released almost every day and the trend is obviously to "fix problems". Let me tell you one thing, either from me or ask other sound engineers who have been there for a long time:

A professional recording doesn't need problem solvers. A professional mix doesn't need any software that filters out "unwanted" frequencies. These don't even appear if the mix is well done from the ground up. So before you buy problem-solving software, you should first consider your recording, mixing and mastering skills.

Many companies say that you need these new plugins, but why are there so many great-sounding releases from the "Pre-AI era"? Because real professionals were responsible for the sound there.

I think we need more skills and fewer people who buy a laptop and call themselves "professional engineers" or "music producers" 2 months later... ;-)
