Hey, hey! Hope everyone is ready to finally see Godzilla: Minus One this week! We certainly are! That being said, we'll be taking this week off from the show as well (incredible, a whopping single episode in the month of November). Otherwise, we'd be recording two weeks from now, and we don't wanna make you wait THAT long for our thoughts on the movie.
Rest assured, Talking Toku will be back NEXT WEEK, December 8, to talk all about Toho's latest!

Just a reminder that we're taking this extra week off; dropping three episodes in as many weeks took a lot out of us! We'll be back next week with a review that's been a long time coming on the show.
Also, the extra time off has given me more free time to make progress on both season 3 of ULTRAMAN as well as The Ultraman (a series I started well over a year ago now and dragged my feet on finishing, just like I did with Ultraman Leo before it).

Gotcha! I've lied to ALL OF YOU. Our once thought lost episode reviewing Chalit Krileadmongkon and Pakphum Wongjinda's giant centipede film, THE ONE HUNDRED, will see the light of day after all! In fact, it's out right now! I could regale you all with the tale now, but if you wait until next week's episode, I'll tell you all then! It's not all that interesting a story, but worth telling for sure.
But I'm getting ahead of myself, go check out this episode! THE ONE HUNDRED (or CREEPY CRAWLY) is a blast, GREAT viewing for the Halloween season!

Well, due to some unfortunate circumstances, there will NOT be a new episode of Talking Toku this week.
We had a really great episode reviewing Chalit Krileadmongkon and Pakphum Wongjinda's The One Hundred, but we unfortunately lost the audio for it. We may revisit the film again somewhere further down the line, but unfortunately we just don't have the time to re-record the episode on such short notice. Long story short, we both really liked the movie and highly recommend it; it makes for especially good October viewing, so definitely go check it out.
To make up for the lack of a new episode this week, I'll let you all in on what's coming next (still unsure if it'll be next week or the week after). We'll be interviewing Jeremy Robinson, NYT Bestseller, creator of the Nemesis Saga, the Chess Team series and so much more, about his new book, Nemesis! We're super excited to chat with him, and we hope you guys end up enjoying that when it does come out!
