***WOMAN ALLEGES ALDEN TOWN SUPERVISOR DEAN ADAMSKI MAINTAINS A SUPERMAN/CLARK KENT SECRET LIFE*** By Noah Dougherty
The October 5th Alden Town Board meeting was slated to be a special night honoring Judy Bowman for the amazing work she has done for the town and specifically the dedication she has to enhancing the lives of the senior citizens through her senior exercise program.
The special night came to a screeching halt when political opponents of Town Supervisor Dean Adamski chose to disrupt the special occasion with a political agenda poised at discrediting the Supervisor. During business from the floor an Alden resident, while being filmed by her young son, took an interrogation type approach with the board alleging the Supervisor lived a secret double life as Alden Aggravator journalist Noah Dougherty. The woman alleged having proof of this allegation claiming Supervisor Adamski’s personal page, his Supervisors page and the Alden Aggravator page all shared the same IP Address. Later the same evening the video, along with pictures of the IP address were posted on various pages on Facebook. The IP address she claimed to be exclusive to Supervisor Dean Adamski is 157.240.3.35
Research into these allegations found that Facebook keeps this type of information highly guarded, maintain this information in their server logs and will not turn this type of information over to anyone without legal intervention. The IP address that is alleged to be exclusive to Supervisor Dean Adamski is in fact the Facebook Corporation’s IP address from Seattle, Washington.
Unfortunately, the drama of the night was not limited to just this single issue. The toxic crowd seemed to take issue with one another on issues such as the owner of the Alden Advertiser questioning the town regarding a foil request for all town employees’ W-2’s, along with verbal exchanges between candidate Brett Sitzman and another town resident regarding the allegations that Mr Sitzman threatened and harassed a local business that did not support him.

***COUNCILWOMAN COLLEEN PAUTLER QUESTIONS TOWN CLERK'S FAILURE TO DISTRIBUTE COMMUNICATIONS*** By Noah Dougherty
At the September 21, 2021 regular meeting of the Alden Town Board Supervisor Dean Adamski read aloud a letter from Councilwoman Colleen Pautler that addressed what she described was an attempt for Alden Town Clerk Alecia Barrett to willfully withhold vital information from the Town Board (a copy of the letter is attached) Councilwoman Pautler agreed to speak with us via telephone and explained the following: "For the past 6 months or so the Town Board has ceased to receive any communications from the constituents of Alden. People and other entities such as the school, businesses and even other governmental entities routinely write letters addressed to and intended for the Town Board regarding issues important to them. It appears that the Town Clerk for some reason has taken it upon herself to withhold these important documents from us. Many times the board doesn't know an issue exists until the clerk thinks it is the right time for HER to read aloud the communication during a Town Board meeting, and I find this type of behavior unacceptable, I've been on the board a long time and this for, some unknown reason, has become an issue recently"
Talking with Supervisor Adamski regarding this issue, he had this to say: " I have spoken with the Town Clerk several times regarding how it is important for the Town Board to receive the information intended for them in a timely manner, but unfortunately she is following her own protocol. When people send something addressed to the Town Board, it's because they have an issue they want us to address, or maybe authorize the use of our property or buildings for an event or sports practice, etc. Whatever the reason, it is important to them and it is totally improper and unprofessional for anyone to deny them expedient service from their elected officials" When asked why she may be withholding these items from the board, Supervisor Adamski had this to offer: "I don't know why any elected official would deny their constituents swift service for any issue, it's just not right. Unfortunately, I believe it is a political move on the part of her and my opposition for my re-election. I believe this is their attempt to put the Town Board in a bad light by not being made aware of issues in a timely matter. I think it is sad that they are willing to make such a malicious political move at the expense of the residents of Alden".

******ALDEN TOWN PUBLIC HEARING FOR FIRE PROTECTION GOES WAY OFF TRACK****** by Noah Dougherty
On August 16, 2021 the Alden Town Board held a public hearing for fire contracts with the Crittenden, Millgrove and Town Line Volunteer Fire Departments. During the public hearing the Town Board was attacked for well over an hour by what looked like an angry mob called to arms largely by Supervisor Adamski’s most vocal “haters”. Perhaps the most vocal of them all, a loud, very disrespectful individual sitting in the front row. It was unknown at the public hearing that while this individual yelled and directed his hostility mainly at Supervisor Adamski, that he does not appear to even be a resident of Alden, our research shows that this individual is a North Carolina resident here visiting a family member.
While this public hearing was set to discuss the fire contracts for the Crittenden, Millgrove and Town Line Fire Departments, it appeared the room was stacked with political detractors aimed to take their hostility out on Supervisor Adamski and there was nearly no talk regarding the contracts with these three companies. Questions, comments and accusations regarding the Village of Alden fire contracts were repeatedly thrown at the Town Board, but were not relevant to the public hearing. The Town Boards attempt to keep the volatile crowd on track were almost impossible.
When asked about why the Village of Alden contracts were not included in this public hearing Supervisor Adamski stated ”the Town is still in negotiations with the Village for their contract” During the meeting it came out that Supervisor Adamski requested information regarding Village financials via letter then by FOIL request (NYS Freedom of Information Law) and was denied this information by Village Mayor Michael Manicki. During the meeting Mayor Manicki verified that he did in fact deny the request (which violates NYS Public Officers Law 89(4)).
During a telephone conference with Supervisor Adamski regarding the above, the Supervisor had this to say: “The purpose of the public hearing was to approve the three contracts that were already negotiated. They want to criticize me for not waiting for the Village Of Alden‘s negotiations to be completed, that’s their own fault. The Village of Alden is a municipality, they have different guidelines than the other companies, which are private entities. The Village of Alden is refusing to give us what we need to know what we should be accurately paying them to ensure neither tax base (the Village or Town residents) is subsidizing the other. I suspect the Town has been subsidizing the Village for years, that’s not right, it’s my job as fiscal officer to make sure we are getting what’s we pay for. If the Village was subsidizing the Town and we should have been paying more to cover our share of the expense, you better believe they would be making an issue out of it.“
When asked why he didn’t wait until the negotiations with the Village of Alden were completed to have the public hearing for all 4 companies, Supervisor Adamski explained ”We were asked by multiple companies to move forward and approve their contracts, at least 2 of these companies expressed to me that they were being pressured, harassed and their future threatened by members of the Alden Fire Department and others, and they wanted their contracts done and over with so they could move forward with more certainty”

***INTERVIEW WITH SUPERVISOR ADAMSKI REGARDING ONLINE PERSONAL ATTACKS*** by Noah Dougherty
It's no secret that Alden Town Supervisor Dean Adamski along with his family, friends, friends wives and even business acquaintances have been verbally attacked and their businesses threatened for simply supporting the candidate in his bid for re-election. The attacks continued as they were brought into an official Town Board meeting on Monday, August 2nd. It was at this meeting that Brett Sitzman, Adamski's opponent for the Supervisor's race in November, decided it proper to bring politics into the Town Hall and read into the minutes a quote from what appears to have been a newly made fictitious Facebook account that made very personal and unverified allegations regarding the Supervisor, other board members as well as the Supervisor's son. Sitzman stated the reasoning, for what many feel was a horribly unethical political move, was he felt he was owed an apology.
Upon contacting Supervisor Adamski regarding this matter, the Supervisor had this to say "I don't understand why Brett feels he is owed and apology for stating a fact, but I can certainly say who IS owed an apology is the councilwomen along with their families, that's who is owed an apology by Brett Sitzman. Brett decided to publicly humiliate these great people and their families and to read it into the minutes so he could mark this moment with a permanent scar. I don't think I have ever seen a dirtier, more self-motivated, uglier move by a candidate in my life"
The Aggravator was able to speak with Dustin Adamski, the Supervisors' son, regarding the attack on him and had this to say "I don't know why they keep dragging me into this, they keep saying all kinds of things about me just because I am his son. I'm 19 years old, personally I think my dad is doing a great job running the town, I support him and would never say anything to hurt him, I guess me supporting him makes me the bad guy too."

***FACT CHECK-ALDEN TOWN SUPERVISOR TAKES 15% PAY RAISE*** by Noah Dougherty
With the main goal of the Alden Aggravator being to bring truth to the media, social media, news outlets, etc., we have found discrepancies in statements made regarding Alden Town Supervisor Dean Adamski giving himself a 15% pay raise in the year 2020. This is what we have found:
FALSE: The year 2020 budget was set by retiring Alden Town Supervisor Richard Savage who raised the salary from $24,000 to $28,000 as he felt it to be necessary to attract more quality candidates as Alden had one of the lowest paid Supervisor positions within Erie County.
When questioned about this, Alden Town Supervisor Dean Adamski had this to say: "I certainly didn't get into politics for the pay, I got into politics because I believed I had a lot to offer the Town, I have not taken a pay raise yet and I won't for as long as I am in office"

ARTICLE ABOUT TOWN BOARD UPSIZING by Noah Dougherty
In the July 22, 2021 Alden Advertiser were 2 articles pertaining to the upsizing of the Alden Town Board from 3 members to 5. Although the Town Board expressed it's interest in supporting a 5 person Town Board, it felt a committee should be formed and research done to be sure the public would be properly educated regarding the upsizing.
Unsatisfied with the position taken by the Town Board, a committee was formed largely consisting of anti-Adamski members.
When asked about if he was in favor of the upsizing, Alden Town Supervisor Dean Adamski had this to say: "Yes, I am in favor of a 5 person Town Board, but we don't need a 10 person board (referring to both the Town and Village Boards), The Town does not need more Government, instead of just creating more Government, we should be trying to save money so we can provide more services to the residents of Alden." When asked about ways to save taxpayers money the Supervisor said "We should be looking into different forms of consolidation of services within the Town, the fact that we have 2 courts paying 4 judges, 2 prosecutors and 2 or 3 court clerks is absurd for a town our size, and that's just one example"
When asked about the statement in the paper which said "The ability to add these additional positions into the budget with little if any impact to the residents" Supervisor Adamski replied "Whoever made that statement is irresponsible or simply wants to pull the wool over the eyes of the voters, to add 2 additional councilperson salaries, insurances, social security, etc would eat up almost the entire tax cap, not leaving monies for anything else including the mandatory minimum wage increases"
Finally, when asked about the committee called "Citizens For The Future Of Alden" whose membership looks like an anti-Adamski lynch mob, Adamski stated "I'm proud of what we have done, we have great people who truly care about making the town better for everyone. The people of Alden are smart, they can see what's going on here, this looks more like a hostile takeover than it does an attempt to make things better. Our general fund has no debt, I'll keep it that way, we can all see how our counterparts in government manage their money, if they take over, God help us"
