Having a very busy weekend here at Solfest, had a great time meeting the STEVE DIGGLE (singer,songwriter,guitar,Buzzcocks) and Buzzcocks and hanging out with Eddie from Tiderays and Bryn from The Screaming Love Collective and Bogle from DCR’s melting pot. I’ll tell you all about ok Wednesday, 6-8 on My Generation on DCR.

Today is the final curtain of My Generation Xtra and Saturday afternoon's are just not going to be the same anymore. Seth and Dan began this extra show at the start of the very first lockdown back in March 2020 when everyone started working from home and have managed to keep two shows running all this time - three if you include Seth's Sunday Soundtrack that he does on his own without the help of his dad.

However, all good things have to end and although this is not the end of My Generation, it is the end of the Saturday show and it is with heavy hearts that the boys have put together their final Saturday playlist. But what a playlist it is!

There will be tracks from bands Seth and Dan have interviewed on the show, there will be some of the new bands they have discovered, there will be a perfect blend of classic tunes and there will be a nod to the Guilty Pleasure Dome feature too. They are very excited for the final half-hour of the show as they intend to finish with a BANG!

Expect to hear tunes from Pretty Mafia, Sharp Class, The Wainstones, Opal Skies, Alex Spencer Music and Lack of Afro rubbing shoulders with Massive Attack, Biffy Clyro and The Velvelettes.

Sorry ladies and gentlemen, due to technical issues I won’t be doing a live show tomorrow, something has come up and I cannot fit recording a show into my busy schedule for this weekend. Will hopefully be back next Sunday but I will know closer to the day.
