The start of our road trip.
A winery for late lunch and a brewery for dinner. Drinking a cold one whilst guitarists and ukulele players strum and singers croon. The fire crackles in the corner, and I sigh with a full heart.

The alarm went off and I actually got up!
I made it in time to attend my first sunrise skate session!

The problem theses days with playing strategy games with each other is that we think alike too much!
For us - every move counts, we want to make the best choice every move, and we want to anticipate every possibility 3 moves ahead. That plus we're incredibly competitive with each other!
I played this game against a mate for the first time the other night. The game took 10 minutes.
Tonight, the game took well over an hour!!
My lovely and I have decided to incorporate the use of a timer. Hopefully then we play under pressure and don't get kicked out of the restaurant after eating ages ago!

What an absolute adrenaline rush!
This was so much fun - I can't wait to do it again!
Sadly, downhill slopes are never captured on video as they are in reality.
The slope was much steeper than can be seen.
