It's hard to choose, but I think my favourite thing that I ate in 2022 was the brisket from on our trip to Cleveland. It wasn't just the fall-apart brisket, it was the vinegar-y kraut, the perfect potato salad, plus they stock my favourite hot sauce of all time: 👀

🥣 It's a.k.a. the best time of year! In my day job, I'm a content creator for a food tech startup. I made a warm and creamy Roasted Mushroom & Miso Soup for their page the other day, and I'm sharing this snap from the shoot, because how gorgeous is this oyster mushroom??

🏔 I grew up in BC, and the thing I miss most is access to beautiful fresh fish. We've found some okay spots to satisfy the sushi cravings once in a while, but none of them compare to Vancouver sushi. UNTIL we tried 🍣

Albeit more pricey, their quality is on par with my West Coast favourites. Tuna sashimi should melt in your mouth like butter, and theirs absolutely does! I honestly felt like I might shed a tear, this stunning plate of sashimi reminded me so much of home.

Masaki is a must try for a special occassion, but be warned, it will ruin all other Niagara sushi spots for you, it's THAT good!

This is their "All the Smoke" Platter. You get a choice of 2 meats, we went with Brisket & Chicken Tinga, and 3 sides. We went with Jicama Slaw, Adobo Black Beans and Smoked Poblano Potato Salad.

Everything was absolutely to die for, the brisket was melt-in-your-mouth, their bbq sauce is tangy & spicy, and being able to smell the rich smoke on site really enhances the whole experience 💯

True foodies know, never judge a book by it's cover, or a restaurant by it's location! shares its building with a convenience store, but inside, they're serving up some of the most stunning brunch plates you've ever seen.

📸: The "Pork Hot Mess" feat. deep fried poached eggs, and one of their ever-rotating feature dishes, with smokey sweet baked beans, poached eggs and pickled onions.
