The Denver Nuggets won last years title by simply staying patient and keeping that team togther and adding to it every chance they got. Tho they lost this year they defintely are not done.

The Boston Celtics are going to win this year for the exact same reason. They had numerous failures. Some of them embarassing but they stayed the course and kept adding and building on their core.

Teams have to learn to be patient. Stop blowing up teams and firing coaches at the first sign of failure. Or even worse when people are hurt like Milwaukee did.

The WNBA is 28 years old. When the NBA was 28 years old around 1975 the NBA was in trouble. The game was in jeopardy with lots of financial issues. They would shortly there after merge with the ABA to make one united league. And even still the game was devoid of true super stars that drew eyeballs and marketing money.

Enter the 1978 NBA Draft and Larry Bird being selected at 6. However he goes back to college and a rivalry is born when his team loses the national championship to Magic Johnson.

Right after both of them come into the league with Magic being taken 1st overall in 1979 and their rivalry and star power is credited with saving the NBA. Hopefully Caitlyn Clark can be that catalyst and help bring that renewed attention to the WNBA.

X-men 97’ is the absolute truth. What an outstanding start. Episode 5 is the greatest episode of American animation I have ever seen.

What a terrible round of playoffs. Only one competitive game out of 6 smh. An average margin of victory of 17+ points. Absolute humiliations all around, 3 teams that lost had the better record this season. Of the 6 wild card losers all 6 had double digit wins with a combined 65 wins right out the door smh

The Chiefs are missing and need Eric Bienemy. His aggressive tough on the details “bad cop” is the perfect compliment to Andy Reid’s “Good Cop”. They are a perfect pairing. In his absence the KC offense is sloppy and disorganized, making silly errors and mistakes. KC needs to bring him back as the highest paid Assistant Coach and Coach in waiting.

17/12/2023

If I am the Chiefs I am cutting Kadarius Toney after the game. It’s guys out there who may not be as fast or tall but they can catch. If not the Chiefs are going to be in the playoffs and have their season ended by one of those comedic dropped passes into an interception. That’s like his 3rd or 5th this season.

New Episode Alert! Simone Biles and The Fear of Black Excellence!

Simone Biles is the greatest gymnast who ever lived at only 24 years old, yet she is constantly discouraged from creating new moves and getting her proper recognition for them. The moves she creates and performs effortlessly, are dangerous for other world-class gymnasts, men or women, to even try. As a result, the governing bodies lower the difficulty score for them to discourage their use. This is unfair to Biles and the future of the sport and it's a part of a long history of hostility for black women in traditionally white sports.

The End of Traffic Stops!

In this episode, we discuss a possible police reform we think should get serious consideration, and that is the end of the traffic stop as we know it. Every year there are millions and millions of traffic stops nationwide that endanger both the citizen and the officer. Far too many times these stops result in lawsuits and even loss of life as we have seen far too often in recent years. It is time to ask the question, would the public be better served if getting pulled over was a thing of the past?

Episode 20 is up! Frozen In Texas! In this episode, we discuss our experiences enduring the Texas Winter Storm and Power outage as we both live in North Texas. The Texas Power grid approached critical failure as rolling blackouts combined with some of the coldest temperatures recorded statewide resulted in a perfect storm that endangered millions of Texans. This crisis in Texas was both preventable and a political lightning rod for those on both sides of the aisle as the proudly independent Texan Power grid had no winterization to protect it. Meanwhile, politicians like Ted Cruz fled the state, while others argued and lied about the causes of the failure. Today we talk about our time spent Frozen in Texas.

The Texas Power grid approached critical failure as rolling blackouts combined with some of the coldest temperatures recorded statewide resulted in a perfect storm that endang...
