A thin line of thunderstorms sliding southward through Central Texas this morning
DO NOT drive into flooded waters this weekend. Even if you think you can make it -- turn around and find a SAFE way to get to where you are going.
Ryan Star, a DJ with Candy 95, captured the moment a driver drove into a creek in College Station, Texas this past week.
"This happened outside of our building this morning. Excellent example of why you do not drive into flood waters," the radio station wrote in a Facebook post, "She was able to safely get out of the car and is ok."

WEEKEND ARCTIC FRONT ARRIVES SOONER: There has been a notable shift in the timing of the cold front that’ll drop our temperatures next week. Despite the earlier arrival of the cold front, now expected to push through Saturday afternoon and night, the coldest air is still expected to push through Sunday night through Tuesday.
Depending on exactly how fast Saturday’s front blasts through, Sunday’s highs will likely warm only into the mid-to-upper 30s. With the extra clouds overhead on Sunday, we could see a few spots with temperatures staying close to or even just a touch below freezing.
Our first wave of rain over the next few days looks to come on Thursday, but we do expect more waves of rain through the Holiday Weekend. An active weather pattern is on the horizon with daily rain chances starting Thursday. Temperatures will be 5-10 degrees above normal, with highs in the 60s and lows in the upper 40s and 50s.
