My therapist once told me …
Some of YOUR relationships are only flourishing in your life right now because YOU are the only one watering them.
Cut the water off and see if the other person( s) notices .. 9/10 if they are not invested .. and they will move along to the next person who will fulfill they needs.
Many times in life we have to learn to accept that .. some folk in your garden have to be uprooted QUICKLY when YOU discover they no longer serve a purpose in your life so that fresh heathly meaningful relationships can take its place.

A lot of times we hold on to people out of FEAR that we equate to necessity! The reality is we were flourishing BEFORE them and we will continue to do so after they have exited our life…. Regardless of how they choose to leave it.
Don’t let the thought of adjusting to thier ABSENCE keep you bound to the version of yourself that is suffering due to thier PRESENCE .

There is a huge difference between authentic regret and manipulation to keep access to someone open. You will know if you have fallen for the okie doke when they revert back to the behavior you forgave them for for the 1 thousandth time.

Sometimes we get so caught up in relationships that we believe what the other person says even if damaging to our self esteem. If a person has to manipulate you into believing that you can’t do better without them they know deep down inside that you can.

Don’t count yourself out, with the limited belief that the only way you could ever be successful is by letting others use you! It’s a lie! The Bag Lady's Bag of Regrets
So this week the bag lady is facing the fact that she has some regretful past things that just won't leave her alone. She has tried to hide them and even give them another name, none of it is working currently. Now I know we all have our own bag of regrets ladies! some of us got those big duffle bag sizes we carry around when no one is looking but stands like a big Boulder in our way when we trying to heal and move forward. whew!! some of y'all , like me will take some the less weighty regretful experience and carry those around because we couldn't just bare to let others know .. we straight bound up and tied down by things we afraid to heal from and let go of...oh wait are you the boogie type..you know keeping y'all regrets in that cute bag designed by Louie or MK. walking around a fashionably designed mess emotionally like the rest us you just can't bring your self to admit it ? listen no judgement here !!whew! listen sis!! we all got a bag no matter how we dress it up and carry it ... One thing we fail to remember is this .... We can dress our baggage up all we want but it will never change what it really is and the damage its currently doing in our life!
