La Palma Volcano Update Caught on Camera.

According to expects, this could be the largest volcanic eruption in 500 years.

The lava flow has reached previously unaffected sections of the Spanish Island

Tremors and emissions have increased, indicating that the volcano is getting more active.

Residents of the Spanish Island of La Palma had little optimism on Monday 29th Nov. 2021 that the 🌋 in Cambre Vieja Natural Park would be silent anytime soon.

Lava is still flowing at Fissure unabated and the channel bis full. At the start of the video standing waves in the lava channel can be seen near the vent exist. A surface crust forms over the channel as it's spreads out during it's approach to the sea.

Spatter was through about 6-9m(20-30ft) above the pond surface occasionally depositing spatter onto the rim of the cone

Small overflow of perched lava lake levee was visible from Western crater rim.The height of the levee in this video was measured at 1m(3.3ft)

Fast moving lava plucked crust from the base of the spillway and deposited it further downstream where the lava was then recirculated back towards the cone.
