When exploring our fourth print theme, we returned to ideas and visuals that felt purely American. We wanted to capture the American bar scene – the spirit of a night out that wasn’t tied to one bar or city, but a night could happen anywhere and call upon memories for anyone.

The shoot, Friday Night in Smalltown, USA, was inspired by the charm and mystery of a dive bar with its characteristic low lighting and slow, stuck-in-time atmosphere. These elements were reflected in our styling choices. We focused on layering muted pieces and fabrics of the American past and present, namely leather and denim, that have remained in vogue for nearly a century.
