***Please see the April 22, 2022 update on this story in the NH AG news release: https://www.facebook.com/ConcordNHPD/posts/369711361866152***. Our thoughts are with their families during this difficult time.
The Concord Police Department and the New Hampshire State Police are currently conducting a missing persons investigation. We are seeking the public’s assistance in locating the following individuals:
Name: Djeswende P. Reid
Age: 66
Race: African American
S*x: Female
Name: Stephen L. Reid
Age: 67
Race: Caucasian
S*x: Male
Stephen and his wife Djeswende “Wende” Reid were last seen by family on Sunday April 17, 2022 at a family members home in Concord, NH. Both parties last had phone communication with family/friends on Monday April 18, 2022. The Reid’s were reported missing by a family member on April 20, 2022 when Stephen did not arrive for a planned event. Both of their vehicles were parked in their usual places. There is no known medical history or domestic violence for either person. Neither are believed to own any fi****ms. They are avid outdoors people and are known to take frequent walks along the trails near their Concord residence. Their absence and lack of communication with family/friends is uncharacteristic and their disappearance is of significant concern.
Anyone that has seen or communicated with either person in the recent days, or has information regarding the whereabouts of Djeswende and/or Stephen Reid is asked to please contact:
The Concord Police Department at (603) 225-8600, or tips can be submitted anonymously by contacting the Concord Regional Crimeline at (603) 226-3100. Tips can also be submitted online through the Crimeline website at: www.concordregionalcrimeline.com, or text message TIP234 and your message to CRIMES (274637). Crimeline awards cash to anyone whose information directly leads to the whereabouts of the Reids. All tips remain anonymous.
